Each time I apply mascara, it gets all over my face & not on the lashes, or it gets all clumpy. Do you have any useful tips or tricks?

So I have black eyeliner, mascara, brown pink blue silver & black eyeshadow, lip gloss, foundation, & blush that I can use.
I want something kinda casual but still really pretty.
Please give me through instructions on how to do it & a picture would be helpful.

Ok so I’m 15 & going into my sophomore year of high school & my parents only let me wear eyeliner & mascara!! They are fine with lip gloss as long as the colors aren’t really that noticeable. I don’t want to look boring & the same as last year just because of these limitations. OH & they arn’t crazy about colored eyeliner or mascara either (unless it’s brown). So what can I do?? Sorry for the impossible question:/

My eyelashes are really long & straight which is quite annoying because it means that even when I use an eyelash curler & apply mascara, they seem to fall down & at the end of the day I just have thick & long (good) straight (bad) & pointing downwards (bad) lashes.
Anyone got any tips? thanks

Just started this based on the prompt “Write about fatherhood, with the main character a florist & make the setting a restaurant.” (he’s going to find out he’s going to be a father later.)And I think it’s pretty good. I’d like to hear some other opinions, though!(: I’m fifteen, & have been writing for about a year…
His knees bounced under the table, eyes scanning the door every few seconds, waiting for her to rush in & apologize for being two hours late. The waitress was looking sympathetic now, bringing him a new Coke after Coke, setting it down on the coaster without a word. He bet she saw sorry, lovesick guys all the time. But he was different, his girl was different. She wouldn’t stand him up, she couldn’t.
Was this relationship love, or lust? Daniel convinced himself that it was love, although he wasn’t too sure. Everything about her was perfect. From the way her sweet blonde curls hung around her face to the vanilla taste of her mouth when he kissed her. He loved everything about her. How she looked when she focused on arranging a bouquet of flowers at the shop, the way her creamy skin contrasted with the emerald green comforter on her bed. She was the wild adventurer to his soft-spoken poet. She was his light, the breath in his lungs, the fire to his water. The term falling in love never felt so real, every time he touched her it felt as though he had thrown himself off the highest cliff. Falling slowly, his stomach twisting, heart racing. A solid breath was hard to come by when Leila was around.
They didn’t know anything about each other. She never asked, he never questioned it. All he knew was that she worked at Posies Flowers on 24th street, & that her favorite color was blue. He constantly wondered what her family was like. He liked to imagine them as kind of families on television sitcoms. Sarcastic people, who had their arguments but at the end of the day never forgot how much love they had. It would take some amazing parents to raise such an extraordinary person. Maybe she had an older sister, someone who played dolls with her & taught her about boys. Or a younger brother, who she held after he was born & defended him through his difficult years. There was a history somewhere behind those blue eyes, a reason they sparkled with such happiness & light. Daniel liked to think he was that reason at times, but it was times like this that he doubted his stance in her life.
The face of his watch read 8:30, & just as he reached for his coat he noticed a girl flitting around on the sidewalk, the green neon sign of the restaurant reflecting off her porecelin skin. Her eyes met his, & she froze for a moment. It almost seemed like she was indecisive as if to come inside, but in the end she slipped inside the door before it closed. Her cheeks were pink from the cold, & a grey wool coat was slug around her shoulders. Her mascara was slightly smeared, & the smile she flashed seemed a little too rehersed.
“Hey.” she said in a voice that was eerily cheery, removing her coat & sliding into the booth opposite him.
He nodded once, stirring his Coke. “I was just about to leave.”
“Well I’m glad you didn’t.” She placed her hand on top of his, stroking the top of it with her cold fingers.

I’m starting Highschool in about a week, I got my schedule & I have PE first. So should come to school with just powder makeup on? Then I can just like bring foundation, eyeliner, mascara, & eyeshadow with me & out it on as quickly as possible? How long do you get to change? Because I would need to bring a mini straightener, makeup, & I would need to get clean, too. I cant shower there.
How much time would I have to get ready, & how can I make the most of my time?

Where I live, it rains all the time, so its best to wear waterproof mascara. I’ve been using Bobbi Brown no-smudge, & at first I liked it, but it isn’t doing it for me anymore. It doesn’t lengthen very much, unless I use a whole bunch, & it just doesn’t volumize them as much as I want. It darkens a bit, but my eyelashes are already black. The thing that I do really like about it, is that it doesn’t come off no matter what, except with waterproof makeup remover.
I want a mascara that will make my eyelashes a bit more dramatic. I want them to look longer & thicker, but not clumpy, or too separated. I don’t want them to look really fake or anything, because I’m just a freshman in high school, & the only makeup I really wear is mascara, & sometimes eyeshadow. I don’t know what to buy now! I don’t want to pay more than $30.00

I bought some false eyelashes, the individual ones (not the strip), & the directions on the package say “DuraLashes should be replaced as your natural lashes shed. (About 4 to 5 weeks)”
I’ve never worn them before. So i’m confused by what the package says. Does that mean I’m supposed to wear them for 4-5 weeks straight before removing them or am I supposed to take them off each day & then buy new ones after 4-5 weeks?
Also, do you recommend using mascara over them or should I just use the lashes without it? …and last question, the package I bought is a combo pack of short, medium, & long lashes. Am I supposed to use all one length at a time or am I supposed to use the longer lashes on the middle & the shorter ones on the ends of my eyes?

I have a Revlon eyelash curler, & I use it before mascara. However, I’ve noticed that I’ve had many more lashes falling out after removing make-up. Also just today, after I curled my lashes, I noticed many dipping way down, & I can’t do anything to make them stand up the way they used to before I curl my lashes.
I have many eyelashes that are “dipping down” from curling.
Should I stop? Is there any way I can fix this?

I noticed most of their makeups run from $1-$5. Are they cheap quality wise? I’m saving for mac, but i’m fifteen & without a job so i’m slowly getting there. Is it good temporary? Like their eye primer & eyeshadow? I use covergirl mascara & revlon colorstay eyeliner that i’m satisfied with.

Okay, so I know there’s a lot of questions about this topic but my mom is being ridiculous. I’m 13 & in 7th grade & this year she started letting me wear foundation, blush, & a little bit of mascara. She won’t but me those big volumizing tubes of mascara, only the skinny brushes & whatever. Also I can’t wear eyeliner, & eyeshadow which doesn’t make since to me. It really bugs me because I have to sneak on eyeliner when she leaves for work or on the bus. I wash it off before she gets home but sometimes she can tell I was wearing it & gets all up in my face & snappy & I hate it. I put it on nicely & right on my waterline so I don’t look like a skank/whore/hoe or anything, & eye shadow isn’t even bad! I think I should be able to make my own decisions by now & me & my mom already have a bad relationship & this is making it worse because I’m going behind her back. Advice please?

I have a problem I have to face on a daily basis. After I curl my eyelashes, everything is fine (by “fine” I mean that my eyelashes are curled exactly the way I like them) & then once I apply mascara (even if it’s just one, thin coat) my eyelashes lose the curl & you can’t even tell that I spent time curling them.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Help!!

why can’t i use black eyeliner without it looking too dark for my face & making my eyes look smaller? I have dirty blond hair, blue eyes, & fairly tan skin (not pasty but not dark). My eyes are roundish-almond shaped & my eyebrows are brown. I really want my blue eyes to beam & i’ve been told that black eyeliner & mascara can do that but like i mentioned above, i have issues with black. WHY? & do you have any advice?

This girl will not stop staring at me.
I *know* this girl. At least I used to. However, she can’t be the one I’m thinking of. The girl in front of me looks on with a sheepish smile & eyes which do not glance around out of worry, but instead look on with great determination.
This girl has a great body, & neatly straightened hair which is both healthy & not too voluminous, not too thin. This girl has breasts, real breasts, & an amazing butt, one which fills out the dark blue jeans nicely. Her make-up is applied carefully, not poured on, & the mascara compliments her already-long eyelashes.
The girl laughs at me, & I know it is out of love. I can hear past the laugh into her soul, & I hear the sound of true happiness, without a hint of sadness or fear.
The girl has plans- she will spend time with her friends this week, but will also find time to do her laundry, keep her bedroom & closet clean, & complete her homework- all without stress. She also will let her guard down and, although she will never forgive, she knows to forget. Alas, she has long-term plans as well. They’re still a bit confusing, but she’s getting there.
I’m confused, but proud nonetheless. Can this truly be the young girl I’ve always known? Is this what she’s grown into? And is this the one who not long ago was plagued by depression?

I was wondering if i should wear my pants abit more tighther becuase the pants i wear are sort off loose (uniform pants)
& I like converse! & some nikes
i like studded belts & i like japanese street wear
& i will like to maybe wear a big bag to school
not for style but to be able to carry all my text books
&& this is a not so common idea but I will like to get me a pair of military boots !! & wear them ..
I think military combat boots look nice!
but .. I’m still not sure
& i also don’t like wearing that much make up
(i only wear mascara)

& I know im asking advice on how to look better or have more style but I’m not into looks that much
I think girls don’t need to wear too much make up to look pretty
& looks ARE important & it’s usually the 1st impression people get from you
but the mind & the heart are the most beautiful things in a person

I have blue-green-gray eyes & relatively fair/ pale skin. What color eyeliner, mascara (no crazy colors with this one please), & eyeshadow should I wear to really make my eyes stand out & bright. Also what brand would you suggest? And if possible, try to provide waterproof options. Thanks!

i curl my eyelashes every day & no matter how hard i try as soon as i apply mascara they droop & straighten out. Ive seen a liquid like a perm for eyelashes but cant use as i am 7 months pregnant. Is there anything i can do ?
