What Are Your Top Make-up Tips Or Products?
i’m looking for good products that i can get at a drugstore & not at neiman marcus. or is that part of the problem? i think my real problem in not so much in the quality of the products i’m using but in my application. i can’t get eyeliner on my top lids to get down in between my lashes & mesh with my mascara. & i don’t understand eyeshadow either. help!!!

I have tried it all. If you can find the right makeup at places like Walmart, it can be comparable to the department stores. I use Max Factor panstick & use a sponge wedge to apply. Fingers can leave streaks. The sponge gives you a flawless finish. Then cover with powder. Try to dot the eyeliner on the top of your eyelid instead of making a line. It will look more natural & make your eyelashes appear to be fuller. Try using light colored eyeshadow until you get the idea of how to put it on.

I love Mearle Norman Lipstick. It is a must have. IT is only 11 dollars, & I have spent way more then that on tubes that I replaced with tubes & never used. It also last a long time.
Eyeliner is tough. Each person just has to play with it. IT will come. Eye shadow, I put a light color like neutral on my whole lid. All the way up to my brow. Then I pick a color to put from the crease of the lid down. It opens up your eyes, & it is two easy steps. Good luck

Hey, natural beauty is the way to go. I’m sure you’re just lovely without the fake looking makeup. Besides, it’s what’s inside that matters.

as far as eyeliner, FORGET IT…you can achieve a nice smoky look by lining the upper lid with a very fat, soft pencil, then smudge with a q-tip NO FINGERS as that’s unsanitary!! OR you can apply the same fat pencil in tiny, tiny dots between your lashes, then smudge if you want; this is a look that’s been done since the 1930s & never goes wrong. Either method give the illusion of thicker lashes…..there’s nothing wrong with the stuff you buy; drugstore cosmetics are just fine!!! good luck & have fun……….

maybeline or cover girl are good brands. i think eyeliner on the top lid is unnecessary & too complicated anyway. i stopped after i messed up so many mornings. eye shadow is easy. you get two colors that go together & put the darker on the bottom of your lid & then the lighter on the top. & if you want to be really outgoing, put the lighter color right below your bottom lashes. put eye shadow on before eyeliner & mascara just in case you get the shadow on your lashes.
beauty on girl!

im a fan of Loreal & The Body Shop. Great make up stuff @ an affordable prices.
I got a make up tip for the eyes.
Apply ur eyeshadow followed by ur prefered eye liner. Then curlz ur lashes with an eye lash curler.
To make it looks more curlz, add some hot air to the tip of the lash curler ( the ones that u clamp with ) with a hair dryer. Then u quickly curlz ur lashes with extreme caution of not burning your lids. Then followed by applying ur Mascara.
Loreal Volume Shocking mascara is great, it lengthened, thickened without looking too fake. Use the white base 1st that is available on the mascara itself then apply ur black/dark brown mascara. Let it dry……….then u curlz ur lash again. Dun forget to apply ur mascara on ur bottom lashes too. It will enchance ur eye features making it looks bigger & beautiful.
Apply a soft pastel blusher colour, followed by glossy lips…in nude shades. Will enchance the overall look……..
Have fun trying …..& gather as much beauty tips yah………
Try it babe……
Eye liner….its best u invest in a good one. Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner is good. Easier to handle, smudgefree. Apply it with an eye liner brush.

Yup, maybelline is a good & affordable brand. Their Line Works Waterproof Liquid Liner is great. Its felt tip makes it easier to apply. To put it on, you just have to start at the inner corner of your eyelid along your lash line then just follow the contour of your eye. You can practice with eye liner pencils first juat so you can get the feel of it coz liquid eyeliner is a bit tricky. Good luck!!
