Most people use black, but you can also you dark brown. Any mascara will make your lashes look longer & thicker, that’s kind of the point of putting it on. You can also get fake lashes that you glue on individually. They usually fall off in 4-6 weeks & you just reapply it.
curl your lashes first, then sweep the mascara brush up. i use black as a first coat, then use a dark, dark, purple as a second coat. you can’t tell that it’s purple, but it makes my eyes pop just a tad more.
First, use an eyelash curler then you use black mascara, it adds volume to your eyes.. Addition, if you really wanted to make your eyes a cutie put some tiny shiny beads at the end of the your eye lash.. =)
If you wanted to make it longer, you should buy some fake eyelashes.. =)
to make your eyelashes longer, mascara =] & I’d say a brown black, but not a pure black because that can sometimes look too intense. Maybelline makes a really nice one, almost everyone I know wears it & I know a lot of stars wear it too =]
To make your eyelashes look longer, I would recommend using a mascara brush with stiff bristles to separate & lift your lashes. First, when you apply mascara, make sure there is not too much product on the brush, as too much causes clumpy, short lashes. Next, tilt your head back & put the brush at the base of your lashes & spin the brush upwards once or twice to separate & evenly distribute. Now pull up the brush to apply to the end of the lash. Do not keep adding more mascara or your lashes will clump & you will not get a long, feathery look. I would recommend using a black, blackish brown, or brown depending on your complexion, hair color, & makeup. For example, if you have tan skin, dark hair, & black eyeliner on then you would want to use a darker eyeliner. If you are blond with fair skin & no other eye makeup, then use a brown & the contrast will make it look dark.
You should use this Cover Girl mascara, I forget exactly what it’s called but it’s something like Lash Defining Mascara. It comes in a purple tupe & it’s sold at Wal-mart & Wal-greens. It makes your lashes look really long & defined. Also, black is the best color to go with because most people’s lashes are already black & it makes your eyes really pop. =)
If you have light hair & a light complexion, consider using a black/brown mascara. Apply mascara to the tips of your lashes, let dry, & then apply mascara from the base of your lashes to the tip. This will lengthen & volumize your eyelashes.
People normal use black mascara because it matches everything & makes eyelashes look healthy.
You can use whatever color mascara you like. If your eyelashes are naturally brown you can use brown mascara for a natural look. If they are black, you can apply black mascara to make them look fuller.
To make them look longer you should buy a volumizing clump free mascara. In personal preference, I have had most success with Maybelline & MAC.
