okay, so my dad had it as a teen & my sis had really bad acne when she was about 12-14 now she still has quite a few spots,
and i was thinking about it tonight because i am starting to get a few small red spots, on my forehead & chin i only had a few lil minor ones before & i only wear mascara not foundation or anything & my mum says she is going to book me into the doctors but before she does tonight i have cleansed my face with clean & clear deep action & i am starting to drink lots more water & hopefully i am going to be joining the gym in the new year do you think that this will help them so that they dont get any worse?
also do you have any more ideas i can have?
ive heard proactiv is good but ive looked on the net & it is quite expensive :/

I’m 13, & I have tons on pimples. I can NEVER get them away. I drink a lot of water too. I wear some makeup (powder, blush, eyeliner, & mascara) but I take off the makeup when I take a shower (I usually take a shower at night) I use the neutrogenia pink grapefruit oil free acne wash when I’m in the shower. Also, I use this clean & clear blackhead scrub before the neutrogenia oil free acne wash. After I take a shower, I then put this St. Ives apricot scrubb on (only 3-4 times a week). Then I put this Aveeno daily moisturizer on my face & the rest of my body. I wash my face in the morning & put on the Aveeno agian (only on my face) Is there any other things I could do to make my skin more smooth & healthy looking? Any myths? Any products? It would mean alot(:

I’ve been using neutrogena deep clean face wash in the morning, then olay moisturizer. At night I use st. Ives blemish & blackhead apricot scrub, then benezol peroxide cream (from my doc). Since I heard that I shouldn’t use the apricot scrub everyday & don’t think the neutrogena is enough, what cleanser should I use? I would still use the apricot scrub, just not everyday. Thanks
oh & I have mild acne mostly on my cheeks but some on my forehead, blackheads, & combination skin (oily tzone dry normal/dry cheeks). I’m trying to get rid of acne, & I went to the doc so I’m pretty sure it’s not a food allergy. And I don’t wear makeup except for mascara.

i use a daily face cleanser, i use acne washes, & i used acne pads. at first the acne stuff was working really well, but now it never seems to make a difference. i guess my face could be prone to it now. or maybe its my makeup? i had less acne when i didn’t wear makeup, but that was like a year ago & no one had acne at that age. i dont use many makeup products. i have powder from jane that i use basically as a coverup for blemishes & acne, & i use mascara & eyeliner. that’s it. could my powder possibly be causing it? what products are there that actually work to remove acne/blackheads & will work for a long time? oh & do you know of any coverup that wont cause acne, but will still cover it up well? thanks a lot!

so, i have some acne on my face. yeah yeah, everybody gets it here & there, i know. i mean, its not bad acne, just a couple tiny pimples here & there. but what i want to know is how to get rid of it really fast. every morning when i take a shower i wash my face with clean & clear exfoliating cleanser (it contains benzoyl peroxide acne medication, it also exfoliates skin, treats pimples, & helps prevent breakouts; sounded pretty good when i bought it), & when im out of the shower i use witch hazel to reduce the redness (theyre always kind of red in the morning), & i use the witch hazel again at night before i go to sleep, & occasionally, in an attempt to get rid of a bad pimple, i put clean & clear spot treatment on my nose, forehead, & cheeks.
another fact to back this up: i wear eye makeup (eyeshadow & mascara); just for the record its the only kind of makeup i wear. i dont take it off at night, only because im too lazy. would the fact that i dont take my makeup off before i go to sleep affect my acne at all ?
if anyone has any good recommendations on what to do to get rid of this slight acne, any products i should buy, or anything else that could help me get rid of it, & FAST, let me know !

I just started wearing makeup this year. I don’t have many pimples or anything major, however i do have a few zits. My face has been really oily lately so i need some makeup/ acne products for my type of skin. Also i use clean & clear products for my face, they work good i have the oil removing pads, deep cleaing astrigent, cleanser, & morning burst moisturizer.
I currently use for makeup:
-Professional Remarkable Cover Girl Mascara
-Revlon brown shades of Eye Shadow
-Maybelline New York Medium Loose Powder
Ik i dont use foundation or anything but i havent been able to find a good one. So any recommenations for acne removing products & make up???? Im looking for a good powder foundation to & a effective conclearer that doesnt make the pimples bigger! Thanks so much!

well im 19 nearly 20, & never had an acne problem in my life up until earlier this year when i moved back into my parents home!!…
i started to get small ones, & just started using clean & clear cleanser, & regularly cleaning my face because i wear foundation & mascara & eyeliner everyday!!
i noticed that i became heaps stressed living here, so i would just listen to meditation music, & go for walks & stuff to try & stop stressing…
slowly it started to become worse, so i started to use proactive & tried to minimize the makeup & drink loads of water…
it kind of worked, but i wasnt patient enough, so i paid a visit to the doctor & he prescribed me the dianne contraceptive pill!
but! my sister went on it & she gained weight, i know friends who went on it & they gained weight, & im worried because if i do take it then i may gain weight & im already over weight ??
what should i do? & if i do take it… would exercising regularly & eating more healthily help for maintaining or losing weight rather than stacking it on ??

like foundation? mascara? eye liner? powder? primer?
Price is not a issue. But i need makeup that will stay on for all day… in the heat or rain. Please any tips would be helpful.

I have moderate acne & am sick of it showing. I just had a hormonal flare up & tomorrow want to cover my acne up a bit with pressed powder. I am not a makeup (I wear eyeline & occasionally mascara but that’s it) wearer, so any tips for using powder to conceal acne? Any tips for blending powder? Also, should powder be used just on your cheeks or on the forehead & chin, too? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
