Mascara Answers

I have eyes that are hard to define in terms of color,they are a mixture of grey,green & blue. Which color eyeshadow will be best with them?what about eyeliner & mascara?I have very fair skin as well.

Ok, it seems kinda weird but I noticed that whenever I ask a question or wanna learn something about hair or makeup, I usually get a better answer from a man. Like when my hair was really dry & damaged, a gay guy told me which products to use on my hair & they worked really well. Then another time I was at Sephora asking about mascara & none of the girls there were able to answer my question, so they had the male employee help me. He knew everything about mascara, even down to it’s properties & ingredients used in them & how each one works! Then there’s this male makeup artist on youtube that I watch & his videos are very helpful & i’ve learned stuff from them that other people didn’t know about when I asked them questions.
I was at the bookstore the other day looking at books on makeup & the best one/most helpful with the best tips happened to be written by a man. The other ones didn’t help much & they happened to be written by women. Not that I go looking for men for advice or that I look at the author’s name of the book to see who it’s written by…I just thought about it today that i’ve consistently gotten great advice from men on beauty products. Is that just a coincidence or have you experienced the same thing?
Oh, & I don’t think all of the men i’ve talked to are gay.

♥Ok, well firstly.. i wear makeup, foundation,concealer,mascara,lipgloss,br…
but im cutting it down dew to various times getting caught & in trouble, my concealer is really crap, & its liquid, & when i put powder on it, it seems to sink into my pores & leave my cheeks patchy & thats how my teacher knows?! i decided tonight to cut down to tinted moisturizer,bronzer,lipgloss, i want to do mascara because it makes my eyes Pop & nice, but the teacher can notice to, i wanna wear clear mascara, but i have brown eyelashes & it dosent really make a difference? do you guys now any advice tips? to make you totally natural but at the same time pretty Thanks.x

i put mascara, lip gloss & primer. but does moisturizing your skin helps?, well i never did it, & when i wash my face, in a while, my skin will become very oily & does moisturizing will help stop the oily skin & does it really open pore( is it a good thing to open pores?)

such as freezing you eyeliner for better application, using clear mascara over eyeliner so it doesn’t run or freezing a spoon & using it as an eyelash curler.
does anyone have any interesting tricks or tips like these?

I am interested in some low profile modeling (local, catalog). I live in the saint louis area. I know that I am average looking. Do I have a shot? In these two pictures I am without make-up except for some left over mascara. Based on my face, do I have a chance? Any advice? I love fashion & make-up & would love the chance to experince modeling, even at a low level. I have a very small annoying white bump under eye , in the thinner skin eye region
i have not used eye cream for all my life or anything around eye. I specifically do not put anything around my eye. I do not even use conceler. I am 31, have no under eye circles, wrinkles, no signs of aging, & I do not use anything around my eyes because I like them the way they are.
I will say, I have recently started wearing mascara & for that reason I DO use eye makeup remover & I do need strong makeup remover because even if a trace remains, my eyes can get infected with nasty styes (where your eyes swells up like a golf ball & looks like your eye is closed) like they have before as my skin is actually allergic to makeup, & I also need strong eye makeup remover because I must use waterproof mascara, as my chronic dry eye syndrome makes my eye all of a sudden water at any given time. For medical reasons, pharmacist recommended ponds cold cream or sometimes I use Nivea eye makeup remover which is oil based. IS this causing it? If so, what is a better alternative eye makeup remover without oil? I hear that clean & clear has a good one?
Could you tell me if a dermatologist will remove it for me?

I have golden brown hair that goes about 2 inches past my shoulders. I have bright blue eyes & a skin complexion that is tan. Not like orangey or brown, just tannish! I am looking for ideas for everyday things at school, but ideas for fancy occasions are useful too. Thank you in advance for all the help & ideas!

What is the best or craziest costume you have ever worn to a costume party or seen anyone else wearing? We are going to a big costume party tonight for our friend’s 30th birthday & my partner has come up with hilarious costumes for us, I was not sure at first but actually it’s turned out to be a great idea & I hope we win the prize for best costumes!
The theme is travel because our friend has been away travelling a lot. We decided to be a pilot & a flight attendant but my partner thought it would be funnier to swap so she dressed as the male pilot & I dressed as a female flight attendant! I thought that would be a bit crazy but she persuaded me it would be good & she is right we do look really good & very funny in our costumes.
She is wearing a dark pant suit with badges & medals on, a shirt & tie, a hat, & she has just put on a fake beard & sunglasses, she looks really good! I just looked in the mirror & can’t believe what I look like, I am wearing a bright red fitted jacket, white top, neckscarf, very short skirt & pantyhose! She has put full make-up on my face with mascara & red lip gloss & given me stick on long red nails, & even convinced me to shave my legs, omg! I have just got to put on my blonde wig, hat & high heels & we are good to go! It is a bit embarrassing but we don’t mind doing some crazy things for a laugh sometimes so we decided if we were going to do it then go all out for it!
What do you think of our idea, & what is the craziest costume you ever wore to a party or on Halloween?
One more thing, if the ladies can give me any advice about walking in heels, I had a quick practise earlier but I am not sure how I am going to last the whole night in them!

I have a full face……with chubby baby cheeks. My face always ends up looking greasy & fat….with my eyes squinted so bad they are barely open. Also, even tho i usually wear concealer & mascara,….it appears in my pics im not wearing any makeup & all my acne is visible! HELPPP!!!!
