Mascara Answers

Each time I apply mascara, it gets all over my face & not on the lashes, or it gets all clumpy. Do you have any useful tips or tricks?

I have no style
& well
I was wondering if i should wear my pants abit more tighther becuase the pants i wear are sort off loose (uniform pants)
& I like converse! & some nikes
i like studded belts & i like japanese street wear
& i will like to maybe wear a big bag to school
not for style but to be able to carry all my text books
&& this is a not so common idea but I will like to get me a pair of military boots !! & wear them ..
I think military combat boots look nice!
but .. I’m still not sure
& i also don’t like wearing that much make up
(i only wear mascara)
make up it’s too much for me
& I know im asking advice on how to look better or have more style but I’m not into looks that much
I think girls don’t need to wear too much make up to look pretty
& looks ARE important & it’s usually the 1st impression people get from you
but the mind & the heart are the most beautiful things in a person

Ok so I went out the other day & I didn’t realize it but I was wearing all black & my friend asked me if I was going to a funeral. He said next time we go skating wear colors he can’t see me & I look “goth”? So I always wear black eyeliner & mascara but what eyeshadow should I wear? I have blue eyes with brown hair & people keep telling me to use blue but that doesn’t look right. Can any one of you wonder full people give me some advice with my make up?….my mother is not going to help me with make up the two of us are not alike make up is the first thing I do in the morning & her the last if she does wear it…….I learned from magazines & friends…..thats sad…haha

Okay so im going into 8th grade next year. Last year i was a complete mess. I dresses horribly!

And my hair would either be dead from straiting it (because when i wake up my hair would be frizzy) or it would be real greasy. my hair is long & it is really blond on top & dark underneeth. My roots are dark also. My hair doesnt grow that fast.

This is going to be long, but I’m being worn thin with this situation, so PLEASE I would appreciate it so much if you could take the time to read this & give me some advice.
I am seventeen, & my sister is fourteen. We live with my mum, & my brother (15) stays with us one night every 2 – 3 weeks because he lives with his girlfriends family (my brother & his girlfriend are both dropkicks… into drugs etc.) My mum obviously has her own room, my sister & I share, & my brother has a room.. which he never uses.
My sister & I don’t get along at all. She is the most selfish individual I know, & is a compulsive liar. And of course because she’s the baby of the family, she gets away with murder, & I cop all the crap, ALL the time.
I work every second day now, from about 8 – 5 (I’m on school holidays), so I try to get enough sleep every night to get me through work, but my sister will come in when I’m in bed & slam around doors, drawers, she’ll kick her mattress, slam things on her desk, roll around noisily in her bed, stomps through the house SO loudly it’s unbelievable etc etc etc. She does this on purpose, because she’s selfish & she knows damn well that she’s not the one who has to get up early.
I’m also at the moment sick with the flu, so I’m exhausted more than I should be, & was planning on getting an early night tonight (it’s 9.56 pm here), & so I asked her really nicely if she could go & do whatever she needed to do in the bedroom so that when I went to sleep she wouldn’t need to come in & wake me up, so she told me to f**k off, & then burst into fake tears & ran into mum & said that I told her she HAD to go to sleep now, which I didn’t at all. But I copped crap off mum & got yelled at while my sister stood behind mum smirking at me.
She has a mega attitude problem – at least twenty times a day she’ll go skitz & call me a lot of obscene names because I walked past her or looked at her the wrong way… of course mum conveniently manages to never hear a word, unless I retaliate… which is rare but one can only be so patient for so long. Or she’ll walk past me, look me & up & down & snigger very nastily, like she’s better than me… that REALLY pushes my buttons.
She’s also really disrespectful with my belongings… breaking things, taking things, using my make up & hair products without asking, & then denying it even when my eyeliner or mascara is found in her make up bag.
I am at my wits end, I’m sick & tired of dealing with this ALL the time, & never having anyone listen to me. I’ve begged mum to let me move into my brothers room – he’s here once every 3 or so weeks, he can sleep on the couch, but NO that’s not going to happen.
Also, whenever mum goes out she seems to think I’m just a free babysitter & regardless of whether I have plans or not, I’m expected to be here to watch her… even at 14 she’s scared to be home by herself.
I’m sorry it’s so long, but someone PLEASE help me.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to improve my appearance a little bit. I’m looking for a very natural look, some makeup products that will enhance some of my facial features.
I have dark brown hair, very fair skin, round black eyes, & long eyelashes. I’m looking for things like what blush would be complimentary with my coloring, if clear mascara would be good, what eyeshadow I should use, etc.
Oh yeah, one thing. Please do not include bronzer in your advice. I tried it once & it looked horrible. Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone my name is Nicole, & i really need some help asap…. i have very oily skin & redness around my nose & chin, i have dark eye lids & dark under eyes. i am looking for some thing cheap, but that helsp good. (that is all i use & i am 20 yrs old) maybe something i could get at walmart. i usually get all my makeup there anywaz. Hey, I put (mascara + foundation + powder) every morning when I go to college but right after I come back on afternoon I wash my face & I remove all the make up.
Is putting (mascara + foundation + powder) on my face everyday will damage my skin? is it bad? even if I remove them everyday???

Whenever i apply mascara my eyelashes dry out so much

I have really long eyelashes & they are a bit unruly. I always use an eyelash curler before I apply mascara, & sometimes after, but they still go any direction they please! Ive tried half a dozen different mascaras, & was wondering if anyone knows any products or tips to help me.

I am alot about natural beauty. I don’t wear foundation cept under my eyes a bit cause i have those genetic dark cirlces. I wear mascara, eyeliner, nude gloss, pink blush, & neutral eyeshadows. When i want to go ut I sweep on black or grey for cat eye. Ive been doing this look for about 4 years & now I’m 21 & completely bored with it. Tonight my boyfriend & i are going to a big party & I want to look nice but not overdone. Also I almost never style my hair. I have a bit below shoulder length hair. Help???? Thank you!

I don’t ever use foundation or base because I don’t feel comfortable with it. On a daily basis I clean my skin, condition it, put some lipstick & some blush ( which I just love & cannot live with both of these items, they are really good on me); & a transparent mascara for my eyelashes. I wanted some powder, a transparent one, with no shine, to finish my daily makeup. Something easy to work with- not base & not foundation… Something not cakey at all…
