Mascara Answers

My little sister is having her 3rd birthday party tommorow, & I need some makeup advice. I’m a brunette with a few blonde highlights here & there & i have a good tan. (A natural tan at that.) I have light brown eyes & no freckles. I’m looking for a sheerish look, but I wanna wear eyeliner & mascara. I also need ideas for hair, I was thinking about curling it… oh, & my hair is naturally wavy. its about 2-4 inches past my shoulders.
im making kind of a big deal out of this because its my sisters first birthday party that people are actually going to, so i wanna make a good impression, because we just moved & my family thats coming hasnt seen me in like, a year. so i wanna look nice & pretty.

I have fairly tanned, olive skin, & I’m looking for something a bit more dressy in the eye makeup department, as I have a formal arrangement tommorw night. I have all the basic eye stuff, such as eyeliners in varying shades, various shades & tyypes of mascara, eyelash curler, eyeshadows in lots of bronze & pink & plum, & the like. Any ideas? I’m going to a 21st soon & planning to wear a dress that is knee length that has elastic at the bottom (one of those new fashions, ive forgotten what its called). it is black with turquoise & purple sections, looks sort of retro, & has thin straps. im planning to wear flat pointy black shoes with it.
I’m wondering, should i wear my hair back or down? im thinking back just cos thats what i think will look better, more clean cut i guess. Also, what kind of makeup should i wear? should i wear a green, blue or purple eyeshadow, with a little mascara or a lot?

Assignment : Beautiful Insanity
Here are my rules & requirements . .
Shots Required: 3 – 2 Full length shots & 1 head shot
Hair: We’re looking for some crazy-beautiful hair.
Make-up: Your make-up should be interesting, but definitely not perfect. Think…black, smudged eyeliner & mascara. Red lips would go great with this theme. Be creative, but this isn’t a Halloween theme, so don’t go overboard.
Wardrobe: Up to you, but make it interesting & suitable to the theme.
Location/ Backdrop: Make it interesting! If you’re doing these inside, them make sure it’s a clean, uncluttered spot. Nothing ruins an otherwise good photo like a garbage can & a pile of dirty laundry! If you can brave the weather- taking your photos outside is always going to be more interesting.

Ok I am not to old so I want to still look natural like I am not wearing too much make up at all! Some eye liner color suggestions would be good! Should i wear clear or black mascara, Blush or powder? I look a lot like my avatar so that is what you can work off of! Thank you!

i’m a thirteen-year old girl who is bored with the way i put on my makeup…any fun & cute tips that are age-appropriate? (for example, lined the inside of your bottom lid with white liner to make eyes look brighter, or winged eyeliner/eyeshadow, etc.)
a few things about me:
-i’m asian, so my eyelids don’t have big creases. they do have creases, but not ones like caucasian eyelids.
-i’m not allowed to wear eyeliner except for white eyeliner, ones in neutral tones, & a little bit of brown eyeliner.
-but, i am allowed to wear eyeshadow & mascara.
any tips or cute ways to do my makeup? or, any sites with tips would be great as well.

Anyhow, I want some makeup advice…
1. Is it possible to wear just eye makeup (shadow, eyeliner, mascara) & not foundation/blush/face products & avoid looking stupid? What about the lips? Would regular old gloss (with little or no extra color) work?
2. What colors would go best with my skin tone? If possible, colors that are simple, like black, would be preferred.

I’ve heard of redhead mascara but does it really work? I also need tips for eyeshadow lipgloss color schemes bright colors make me look clowny. does anyone have a neutral clear or light lipgloss color that they just love. or maybe a brownish light eye pallette that looks cute. I have red hair fair skin & blue eyes. please give color & brand thanx
