Mascara Answers

My eyelashes are really long & straight which is quite annoying because it means that even when I use an eyelash curler & apply mascara, they seem to fall down & at the end of the day I just have thick & long (good) straight (bad) & pointing downwards (bad) lashes.
Anyone got any tips? thanks

i curl my eyelashes every day & no matter how hard i try as soon as i apply mascara they droop & straighten out. Ive seen a liquid like a perm for eyelashes but cant use as i am 7 months pregnant. Is there anything i can do ?

I don’t wear all that much make up. Maybe a lil eye liner & mascara, but as for blush & foudation, not much. I have acne. Its not horrible, but definetly noticable. And i wash my face in the morning & at night. but i seem to have a huge problem with the oil on my face! within…45 minutes after i wash my face, i’ll touch it, & it’ll jus be sooooo oily! i jus got home from school. The stuff i use to clean my face with is dermotologist approved, in fact i got it from them. Its called Epionce. And it seems like i’ve become immune to it errr something, because i feel like its not working anymore. Whats something i can do so my face feels less oily? After i wash my face, i let the water run down my face for like 1 minute. Hoping i t would help to get the rest of the junk off. but its not workinG!!! Whats something i can do to keep the oil off?!

The thing is.. i always apply mascara like every day & use an eyelash curler .. & i think because f this my eyelashes which were once long & beautiful have become unalined & different sizes & directions.. which is annoying!
so.. any tips to keep them looking healthy & beautiful?

My lashes used to hold a curl all day long. Now, once I start to apply mascara they just go limp. Could it be an age thing?

so i went to my doctor yesterday b.c my throat was feeling scratchy & he told me that’s because there was mascara ( =O ) there & that’s why i kept having to cough. I think i am allergic to the new one i bought (from sephora, makeup professional is the brand or something like that).. still doesn’t explain why it ended up where it did (maybe b/c i’ve been taking naps lately with make up on haha)
anyway, all this inspired me to to try some healthier mascaras.. my favorite at the moment is Voluminous by loreal (the curved brush) .. it never caused me any irritation but i still want to try something that is “nicer” towards my lashes.. i bought almay pure blends 97.5% natural mascara & it SUCKS.. barely noticeable so i wanted to know what other healthier mascaras there were that actually worked
what would you say about
-neutrogena HEALTHY VOLUME or its HEALTHY LENGTHS ?
or like
-bare naturale, by loreal..
and also, i want volume & no clumping..

i go to the clubs all the time & i dance & as u all know it gets really hott in there. my make up always looks gorgeous at the begining but the more drinks & more i sweat i look like a 2 dollar hooker trying to get the smokey eye effect! haha any tips on how to keep from smuding?!

so i go to school & i put on my makeup on in the morning & it looks just fine & then after lunch hour my face looks dull & my makeup has rubbed off & my eyeliner looks smudged hahah…
so this is what i use right now
smashbox primer
trueblend foundation
bare minerals finishing powder stuff
normal mascara
pencil eyeliner
and thats it!
so what should i do!!

what are some good tips on how to keep mascara from clumping?

i have stopped wearing mascara on my lower lashes for a long time because after trying NUMEROUS products, during the day, they still all run or smear & i look like a raccoon. any tips on prevention or product? & how many of you actually wear it on your lower lashes? do you think it’s necesary?

why?

i curl my lashes before i put on the mascara . but after liek an hour it uncurls . i dont wanna buy a heated curler , so any ideas or advice ? thankyou(:

the tubes in boiling hot water, to kill all the batrica inside & clean the wands?
will it work, i really dont want to thorw away my mascaras seeing as there brand new..

i’m pretty natural…i don’t like to wear alot of make-up….so my main question is what color mascara should i wear? if you have any other make-up tips, they’re also great. ;]

In the morning before school I apply mascara & eyeliner to my eyes, & by the end of the [school] day it is smeared underneath my eyes. Help!!

I seriosley need help my makeup looks fine when i come out the house in the morning but by 11 oclock it’s under my eyes even when it isn’t hot or raining! I put a liquid eyeliner on my eyelids first(let it soak) then a beige powder eyeshadow. Then a wax brown eyeliner or a black pencil. Then waterproof mascara. What am i doing wrong ? And i can’t afford any of the mac stuff & i don’t use eye primer or whatever!

I am either not applying it right, or not using a very good brand. I usually wear neutral eye shadows & a little eyeliner on the top & bottom, plus mascara. Towards late-afternoon, its smudged & mostly worn off.
Anyone had any luck with a specific product? Eye ‘primer’ perhaps?

I want my mascara to stay on my lashes! How do I do that? Is there something I can put on my lashes before/after applying my mascara? Or am I just using crappy mascaras?

I use mascara & eyeliner a lot & I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep it from getting the area under your eyes from getting dark, especially when you remove it.
The only things I know that work are using clear mascara & special eye makeup remover, but that doesn’t completely work. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
