I have acne & combination skin. Would this be good for an everyday school makeup look?
*In the picture I’m just wearing black Rimmel eyeliner & thats it. I find black to harsh against my skin personally.

I prefer wearing really dark eye makeup to school. I’m trying to impress my crush & girls in his culture tend to wear dark eye make up because that’s basically all they can show. Can anyone give me tips on how to make dark eye make up look great & not trashy? I have brown skin, black hair, brown eyes, & I wear glasses. I don’t like mascara. It feels weird. I have naturally long, black eyelashes as it is, so I don’t ever wear it. I don’t mind liquid or pencil eyeliner at all. I can handle both, but I only wear black. That’s my sister’s favorite Bollywood actress. I love her eye makeup in this picture. I don’t have those light eyes though. Mine are super dark brown. Any advice on how to look like that? Thanks!!

I ran up stairs to my room & slammed my bedroom door shut. I threw myself on my bed & closed my eyes, trying to block out everything in my mind that kept coming back to me. My mother just got done yelling at me again. This wasn’t the first time she always comes home drunk. But why does it still bother me as if it was the first time all over again. She came through the front door stumbling around & finally sat down on the side of the couch. I was in the kitchen eating dinner that I fixed for myself, like I did everyday. I walked into the living room & saw my mother. Her curly red hair was a mess with her eye liner & mascara all smeared under her eyes. Her clothes where skin tight, she had on a black tank top & a pair of tight blue jeans that were tucked inside her black boots that went up to her knees. She still had a beer bottle in her hand, she took a big drink of it & sat it down on the coffee table & looked up at me.
“What?!” she said pushing her hair back.
“I didn’t say anything.” I went to the coffee table & grabbed her beer bottle.
“Give me that!” She said yelling getting up & following me as I made my way into the kitchen.
“No! I’m sick & tired of you coming in here every day drunk as hell!” I said & threw the beer bottle in to the trash.
I turned my head & she slapped me across the face. I backed up & ran to the other side of the kitchen table. I put my hand up to the side of my face & felt the hot skin of where she just hit me.
“Damn you Alicia!” She yelled & opened the refrigerator & pulled out her pack of bud light.
She opened up a can & took a drink & started her way of the stairs to her bedroom.
“Some of my friends are coming over this weekend & I don’t want you here to ruin it. So you need to go somewhere. I don’t care where just not here.” She said to me, as I heard her bedroom door shut.
That’s when I ran to my room & started crying. I remembered it again & again, but I told myself to stop that I wouldn’t let my mother get the best of me. So she was having some of her friends over at the house. I laughed to myself, & thought of all the friends that she has had at the house before. How they had left the house a mess, & I had to clean it up. I heard the phone ring, so I rolled over on my side & reached over & grabbed the phone & answered it, “Hello?”
“Hey Alicia! What you been up too?” Savanna said, on the other end, she sounded so enthused about something, but then I remembered I know Savanna all my life & never once has she bored me. She had been my best friend since Pre School, I remember asking her if I could barrow her crayons because I didn’t have any & ever since then you could say that we have been sisters.
“Nothing, just eating dinner. What about you?” I said sitting up & slinging my legs over the side of my bed. I just couldn’t tell her anything about my mother, I just couldn’t. It was too embarrassing.
“Well, you’re so going to love this.”
“Love what?” I was so confused; she knew how I hated not knowing what was going on.
“Party, Friday night, my house.”
“Party?” I asked still confused, why on earth was she throwing a party?
I heard her sigh as if she didn’t want to go threw all the details but she did anyways, “Well my dad is out of town for the weekend, something about a business trip & hey! Trace talked me into it.”
I smiled to myself, I should have known. Ever since Trace has walked into Savanna’s life, she has turned into a rebel you might as well say. I hated Trace with a passion; he was just so rude & not good for Savanna. But I kept my thoughts to my self of course & allowed my only friend to go out with him.
“Okay, so who’s all going to be there?” I asked, I was kind of curios about it. But I wouldn’t admit that to Savanna.
“Everyone!” She said at a high pitch screamed, “Our whole class, & the grade below us. Some people are saying that this is going to be the party of the year. And since we are officially seniors, don’t you think we can party some?”
“Well won’t that be nice to be seniors who party.” I said sarcastically.
“Come on, I thought you would love this idea.”
“I guess, anyways, my mom’s having a party all weekend here, so there should be no problem with me not being able to come over.” I said, thinking back to what my mother had said to me.
I heard savanna laugh & say, “And I bet there will be a lot of cute guys here, all you will have to do is take your pick.”
I laughed & said, “Yeah, like some guy would ever be interested in me.”
“You never know. Well hey got to go. I’m going to call up some more people & tell them. Talk to you later okay Alicia?”
“Alright, bye Savanna.” I said & hung up the phone & fell across my bed.
There should be no reason of telling my mother about this, she wouldn’t even notice that I wasn’t there at the house. She said that she didn’t care were I was as long as I wasn’t at the house. I got up & made my way downstairs & cleane

hey guyss:) so im back with loads of new questions & this is to be my first. So what would you guys recomend as the best drugstore liquid foundation? & i find it rather tiring to be putting on endless strokes of mascara to get my eyelashes the right thickness & when they finally are they end up looking liek spider legs…so i was considering false eyelashes? So my first question on false eyelashes is, are they reusable, & if so how do you clean them. my next question is can u get the reusable ones at a drugstore? & anoher wuestion, what is the best makeup product for evening out your skintones? And last but not least what would be an appropriate color pallete to wear to school if you have brown/gold hair hazel eyes, & inbetween tan & pale skin? thanks:)

Ok, let me start by saying, I am NOT a loser!! ahahaha, But i’m losing some self esteem because i can’t seem to get a boyfriend! My friends keep telling me that i should just wait & it will come with time, but i feel ready for a boyfriend! I’m not stupid & i’m not just looking for a boy for…ya know. I simply want to remember what it feels like to know that a guy likes me.
Some info: I am a freshman in High School. I do a lot of theatre outside of school & enjoy singing, playing guitar, etc. I am almost NEVER lazy when it comes to looking my best. I wear cute instyle clothes, & my style is kinda “cute/casual”. I do my hair nice, i usually straighten it, but sometimes i wear it in a side braid or ponytail, ya know. I wear a LITTLE bit of make up, usually some blush & mascara. I’m VERY outgoing, cheerful, & laugh ALLLLL the time! haha. I’m not trying to just build myself up here. But i mean honestly, i would make a good girlfriend. I’m nice, & funny, & smart. I’m relatively pretty, or at least i’m TOLD that I am.
All the things that a guy would want seem to be there, but yet, no guys like me! I sound like one of those girls that just says “oh, i’m so fabulous!” & is really cocky. And doesn’t understand why guys dont like her. But that’s the thing. I’m NOT nor will I EVER be, that girl who is cocky & clueless.
I have some guy friends, & i’ve had ten billion crushes. My mom keeps telling me to pay attention to ALL the guys & maybe one might turn up where i’m not looking. But i’ve been doing that.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to be appealing to teenage guys, how to know if a guy likes me, basically just some tips??

Do they? Well I’m in high school & I like this guy & I was just trying to make sure I don’t repulse him. I usually wear a thin line of brown liquid eyeliner on my top eyelid, some mascara on the tips of my lashes, a tad bit of blush & some chap stick, is that too much? Thanks for your answers.

I put on mascara on top & BOTTOM. Should I not put it on the bottom part of my lashes, or is it a bad brand? I use Avon uplifting mascara.

she told me her mascara is maybeline stilletos.
so that for sure i know. i want to look awake in the morning for school .

i never use any other colors because it makes my eyes look small. i use brown eyeshadow, brown mascara, brown lipstick or nude with lipgloss.. is this too simple? or does it bring out the eye & everything still?

i love to go swimming, & sometimes my boyfriend comes over & i don’t like to take my make up off. what’s the best kind of waterproof eyeliner & mascara, so that i don’t have to worry about smudges or taking off my make up? thanks. (:

When you’re in the shower, noone knows your crying. You sit in there, scrubbing away all the outside impurities while the ones from the inside pour down your face & mix with the “clean” water. Once they detach from your skin they roll down the drain & “poof” theyre gone, atleast thats what it looks like to the naked eye- or the selectivley blind one. Every crushed dream & hidden desire rushes to be disguised in a pipe that never sees sunlight. You clean yourself & proceed in washing away the imperfections. Once you get out of the shower, you wipe all the evidence of a broken girl off your naked body. What you forgot was the inside & the most crucial part. As you pass the mirror you see the running mascara & visible pimples. Suddenly you forget that noone would even suspect youve been crying-you just got out of the shower. You grab the makeup remover & in a hurry shake some on the floor as you press it to your face & hide the evidence. You medicate

FACE;Concealer, primer, foundation & powder applied extremely THICK, & heavily caked on blusher.
EYES:Beautifully drawn on eyebrows, megathick black eyeliner & long false eyelashes covered in TONS of thick mascara. Lots of bright eyeshadow, prefably blue.
LIPS:Overpainted with thick red lipstick & glossed till theyre (almost) dripping wet!
You will look VERY VERY sexy!

I’m 56 years old & feel like I am harming my eye area using makeup removers & rubbing so much. Regular mascara just smudges too easily on me.
