Mascara Answers

I like the mascaras where you put a base coat on then the colour but am never sure which brand will look better. I also wear glasses so I need my lashes to stand out. Which of those two-step/black-white sort of mascaras will do the job?

i also have kinda dark undereye circles & light eyelashes should i use mascara?

Using black eyeliner pencil?It’s Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencil.
I usually wear it on the inner rim of my eye but I heard this is out of date & makes your eyes look smaller :/
I usually use white eyeliner on the inner rims of my eyes & curl my eyelashes before applying mascara,but is there anything else I can do to make my eyes look wider & bigger?

What colors of makeup should I use? I have blue eyes & brown hair, & want to bring my eyes out some more when I take pictures. I really don’t like eyeshadow, so any tips on mascara & eyeliners with minimal eye shadow use would be amazing

I have green eyes, dark brown shoulder length layered hair with side bangs, I have an oval face with light copper skin, I’m 5′3 & 98 pounds, I wear a size 14 in kids, 0S in juniors, 32A bra. I’m in t 8th grade I get straight A’s or A-B I’m in Algebra 1, Spanish 2, Language Arts, Civics, Band- flute, Physical Science, gym, & keyboarding. I play volleyball & dance ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, & hip hop. I play the flute & piano. My room is almost always clean. I have a lot of friends, I have a boyfriend. My style is preppy/sporty. I like American Eagle, Aeropostale, Old Navy, Limited, Forever 21, Pac Sun, Abercrombie, & Hollister. My favorite shoes are Sperry Topsiders & potatoe shoes. I wear a lot f necklaces. I wash my hair with either Garnier Frutics Sleek & Shine or Herbal Essences Drama Clean. I use Dove Go Fresh body wash. I use Venus razors & Skinimate shaving cream. I don’t always wear makeup, but when I do I wear a little concealer, pressed powder, a little eye shadow, mascara, & lip gloss. I love school. I have a brother, sister, half brother, sister in law, & brother in law. I have two nephews & a neice. I live with my mom & dad. My dad is a lawyer & my mom is a house wife. My brothers are all in the army. I live in Virginia & hope to go to UVA & become a teacher. I love my life! 2009 has been an awesome year so far!

I usually wash my make up off with soap then just in case remove the rest with Mark make up removing wipes, even if i don’t use the wipes my eyelashes fall ive changed mascaras a lot from covergirl to maybelline stiletto. What else can I do? Im 17 too young to be losing lashes!!

Ok I am not to old so I want to still look natural like I am not wearing too much make up at all! Some eye liner color suggestions would be good! Should i wear clear or black mascara, Blush or powder? I look a lot like my avatar so that is what you can work off of! Thank you!

Whenever I put on eyeshadow, in a while, it won’t be completely gone, but a reasonably amount won’t be there anymore, & what is there is all shiny. (I’m asian by the way).
Also, about eyeliner & mascara. Whenever I put any on, particularly on the bottom lashes, in an hour, you can hardly see it anymore, & it creates dark shadows & bags under my eyes. Any advice?

I’m very picky about the make up I use, but I want to draw a bit more attention to my eyes without looking like some trashy girl on heroine with her eyes bugging out. I have blonde eyelashes & feel they look short even with make up. I usually put on a little mascara & pencil eyeliner on the tops only, & I like a natural, but clean look for my face. Sometimes I use a little liquid foundation, but it appears dry on my skin close-up.
To cut to the chase, I’d like some specific make-up advice with product names included.

Can someone explain to me the basics of make up? like foundation, concealer, liquid eyeliner vs pencil, eyebrow pencil, choosing the right eyeshadow, the best mascara for lengthening lashes. Links would be helpful too. I’ll take any advice. I have good skin & rarely breakout . I sometimes get puffy eyelids & dark areas under my eyes how can i best fix these problems? I would like to know how to properly make myself over since my idea of make up is eyeliner, cheap mascara & chap stick. Thanks for any help you may offer.

So I just started using mascara a few weeks ago & yesterday when I took it off a bunch of my eyelashes fell off. They’re very thick & healthy & I love how they look so I got really scared when that happened. My mom said that her eyelashes used to be nice like that too but she wore a lot of mascara & they sorta fell off, but she didn’t tell me so I wouldn’t get scared.
Is this normal? And do you know of a good, inexpensive kind of mascara that isn’t bad, or at least a gentle way of removing it?

i know im ugly & people always tell me to wear makeup..[like thatll make a big diff] but i dont know how to put it on or anything..ive watched tons of vids on how to apply but i still dont know. i also dont know what color of mascara or eyeliner to use. & what brand to buy either. advice plz?

In a couple of days I’m going to have to do my own make up, besides eyeshadow & blush, for my school’s musical. I’m not sure what to do though. I have eyeliner, mascara, powder, & lipgloss. I’m pretty pale, so the lights are going to probably wash me out a bit. Should I use a good amount of mascara & eyeliner to make my eyes “pop” a bit more? What about lip color? Should it be harsh? And advice is very welcome[I can't really ask anyone else I know in real life...]!

at the minute I wear a lot of make up, heavy eyebrows, loads of eye shadow, liner & mascara & probably too much blusher, I’m good at applying it as I used to be a beauty consultant.

Ok,look I’m wanting something b-tween natural @ dramatic.
for example: pale natural eye shadow,black eye liner,black mascara, pale pink blush,and chapstick.
I’ll try to send you a pic of what I look like w/ straight hair
& while I was red. B4 I got my hubby & that stuff.
I’d really like some advice,so i’m not doin liquid liner.

Id like to stop wearing mascara, but My eyelashes are light colored, is there something I can put over them, eyeliner, anything to make them darker? btw I have a dying kit for eyelashes but it hurts like hell & I heard its quite dangerous to do at home…?
