Mascara Answers

I have light brown hair, medium skin tone, & hazel eyes (they look brown sometimes, but if you look close their hazel!) What color eyeshadow should I wear? What color mascara should I wear? Lip gloss? What colors would look good on me (clothes)? Please help!

okay i have been advised to throw out all my eye makeup after a bad case of conjunctivius. So now I have no liner no mascara, eyeshadows or primer.
i also want a new foundation. It cant be too exensive like MAC or BeneFit. my budget doesnt reach that I mean like Rimmwl, Maybelline, NYC or Gosh.
I have really pale skin & I love Demi Lovatos make up styles. Also Kim Kardashians eye make-up!
any help would be awesome as I dont know what to get.

im 13 & kinda new to the whole wearing makeup thing & im not sure what i should wear. i have brown eyes, a bit of freckles, dirty blond hair, & i like the natural look. right now im so lost with what to wear. do blonds have to wear brown eyeliner? how bout brown mascara? does brown mascara look wierd? is black ok? how bout eyeshadow, is that to fancy? wat colors look best?

Okay so I am 15 & I think it is time that I start wearing makeup, my mom does not wear makeup & the only thing she does wear when she wears makeup is mascara & eyeliner. There is really no one I can go to for makeup advice. So I know there is stuff called primer, foundation, blush, eye liner, eye shadow, powder/pressed powder. I want to know how to apply all of those things & what order they go in if there is anything I am missing. I am a blank slate & know absolutely nothing about makeup, so I would like to know everything there is to know about makeup because right now I am clueless.

I have never been a girly girl, because, well I could never afford makeup other than eyeliner. So yesterday I kind of splurged & bought foundation, a new lip color with gloss, & the covergirl exact eyelights mascara, liner & eyeshadow for hazel eyes.
Can anyone give me some tips about applying any of this kind of makeup.
btw I do know that the exact eyelights have instructions on it.

I am a twenty-three-year-old woman who unfortunately looks about nineteen or twenty. I wish to appear older so that people may take me more seriously & not mistake me for a teenager. I currently wear makeup, eye shadow/liner, mascara, etc., but I still end up looking younger than I am. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!
And please note, as much as I appreciate people trying to make me feel better, I do NOT agree that looking too young is a “blessing,” or that someday I will “appreciate” it. I personally find a more mature look to be more attractive in women anyway. Again, thanks for any advice!

I don’t want to look like I’m wearing globs of makeup, but i want to make my blue eyes stand out. What should I use? Including what colors. Eyeliner? Mascara? Also, any tips on lining ur eyes?

I’m 14 going on 15 & I’m allowed to wear make-up it’s just that I really don’t know what kind of make-up to use. (eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow… ect.) I also don’t know which colors to use. There are some people out there that can pull of colors other that black & brown, & there are some out there that just can’t. I have worn make-up several times but because I’m still not too comfortable with wearing it because I’m very self-concious of whether the make-up looks good on me & what doesn’t. I don’t want to be the girl that people look at & are like “omg that girl doesn’t know how to wear make-up” The times that I do wear make-up it’s really noticable… my friends all said I looked great, all that I was wearing though was a brownish eye shadow & a brownish eyeliner. SO if you can help… I’ll take all the advice I can get

Hello there! I’m a fifteen year old teenager who just started wearing a refining powder to cover my blemishes or red zits. I purchased it from Macy’s, & the brand is called, “ORIGINS” & the color is Amaretto 20.
My make up routine is quite simple:
1) Before bed, I apply cocoa butter to my face.
In the morning, I wash my face with Clean & Clear Morning Burst.
2) I moisturize with a shine control face cream from Clean & Clear.
3) I apply a little bit of the powder to a large foofy brush & brush over my skin & neck.
4) I add some blush to the apples of my cheeks & put some chapstick on my lips.
5) ** I don’t wear mascara, because my eyelashes are incredibly long. If I do wear it, I lightly coat the upper & lower lashes. But this is extremely rare.
Is my make up routine too much? Will it damage my skin?

Im 13, I have slightly oily skin. I need some advice on a natural looking makeup. I get the occasional spot, I do use coverup & sometimes mascara. Can you reccomend anything else? I don’t want anything too heavy as it will block my pores.

Really driving slower than speed limit & holding back traffic badly because she was applying mascara on her eyes.Do you think that is ok or what do you think?

I’m naturally blonde, & about a month ago i dyed my hair brunette. I used to wear quite a lot of make up.. smoky eye shadow, lots of mascara & black eye liner, but the eye shadow smudges at school so i toned it down to mascara & grey eyeliner but i don’t like it. If i wear just mascara & eyeliner i think i look plain. I know i shouldnt think this because i am only 14 but i want to know your advice on which makeup to wear during the day? Preferably NO eye shadow because it smudges. Also.. do you know any good liquid eyeliners, because the one i have at the minute makes my skin on my eyes feel sore.

Ok well i where make up all the time but i Do NOT where it at school because i am scared i will touch my eye & ruin it & i touch my eyes a lot because they get itchy or i rub them any advice i really want to where my makeup to school i am 14 in 7th grade. that stick for under your eye to get rid of that color that you look sleepy right now i for get what it is called lol..

ok…so the only makeup i wear is eyeliner & mascara. & i have two main questions:
1) what type of eyeliner leaves the skinniest line (liquid, gel, pencil?)
3) does diorshow mascara really work wonders? im not poor but more middle class & i cant really go & spend $24 JUST on mascara esp. if it isnt what i wanted (i want something that will make my lashes go WAHM! without buglegs or clumps.) i dont live by any makeup store (other than walmart or walgreens lol) to i cant even test it out. sooo please give your honest opinions about it. pros &&& cons please!
also…i have watery oily eyes…any advice on eyeliner tips or brands i should use?

my mom & i made a deal that i can’t wear makeup until I’m 14, but i thought the rule was stupid so i broke it anyway while she was at work. I’m 12, almost 13 in march. i went into her room & i started rambling around until i found her makeup box & i watched some makeup gurus on youtube on how to apply eyeliner & stuff like that. it was like in the afternoon….. probably 1 o clock.
i wore eye shadow , eye liner, mascara , lip stick, some liquid stuff (i cant curl my lashes because im scared of ripping out my lashes) & some blush, & i thougt i looked really good but then i heard my moms car in the driveway & i panicked
anyway i ran i put everything away first & then i ran into the bathroom & grabbed a towel ( i didnt look to see what it was but it was clean) & i wiped it off really hard & really quickly with water (omg im so stupid!! water doesnt take it off very well ) anyway i didn’t realize that the towel i used WAS MY MOMS TOWEL because when i looked down at the corner there was her initials there & now there is black makeup on it from my eyes… & i tried really hard to clean it out with soap even but it didnt come off…
my mom still has not noticed her towel yet but plzz help me get off the makeup i beg you!!!!
she wipes her makeup off at night & shes going to see her towl is missing & shes going to ask me questions!!! im so worried shes going to yell at me

I’m 15, & the most makeup I wear, if I wear it, is eyeliner & this thing on my eyes thats kind of shimmery but barely there. What makeup do you recommend I use, not brands though, to have a look that just sort of brightens up my face & makes me look well-slept & happy I guess?
The only issues I have are with mascara & eyeliner. I don’t wear mascara because the few times I tried, it looked awful. I already have thick, dark, long eyelashes, & so it makes me look a bit like a vampire, & very pale. I was thinking brown might work, but I don’t know. Eyeliner, I use a kind of khaki color on the bottom of my eye. I don’t like putting it on the top, it tends to do sort of the same thing as mascara. I use this shimmery thing that is for cheeks, lips, or eyes on my eyelid. I just rub it in & it adds a sort of shimmery-ness.
Maybe someone with similar problems would have some advice? And sorry for the long question, lol. Thanks! -Marie
