Mascara Answers

Each time I apply mascara, it gets all over my face & not on the lashes, or it gets all clumpy. Do you have any useful tips or tricks?

Where I live, it rains all the time, so its best to wear waterproof mascara. I’ve been using Bobbi Brown no-smudge, & at first I liked it, but it isn’t doing it for me anymore. It doesn’t lengthen very much, unless I use a whole bunch, & it just doesn’t volumize them as much as I want. It darkens a bit, but my eyelashes are already black. The thing that I do really like about it, is that it doesn’t come off no matter what, except with waterproof makeup remover.
I want a mascara that will make my eyelashes a bit more dramatic. I want them to look longer & thicker, but not clumpy, or too separated. I don’t want them to look really fake or anything, because I’m just a freshman in high school, & the only makeup I really wear is mascara, & sometimes eyeshadow. I don’t know what to buy now! I don’t want to pay more than $30.00

I have a problem I have to face on a daily basis. After I curl my eyelashes, everything is fine (by “fine” I mean that my eyelashes are curled exactly the way I like them) & then once I apply mascara (even if it’s just one, thin coat) my eyelashes lose the curl & you can’t even tell that I spent time curling them.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Help!!

i’m looking for a really good mascara that lengthens & volumizes that isn’t clumpy. Also water proof & black.
one thats attached to a lengthening primer or just a really good lash primer in general?

Most prefer to use black but if your going for a more natural look then use brown.

Whenever I use any mascara in the morning while I’m getting ready they always make my semi-short eyelashes long & luscious but as the day wears on they start to get shorter & I have to keep on Re-applying the mascara which just makes my eyelashes clumpy & they’re never as long as they were earlier in the day.
Is there any type of special mascara or technique I could use to keep my eyelashes long all day?

i’m pretty satisfied with my daily mascara routine. i have thick asian eyelashes but they are very straight. so i curl & apply mascara. but i would like more definition because my eyelashes dont all go directly straight, they’re pretty wild since i have so many. it gets pretty annoying. any mascara that you recommend that will define & straighten out my thick lashes?

I’m looking for a mascara that gives nice volume because I’ve got kinda thin lashes, & definition & separation because I hate when mascaras clump =/
Also if it could be natural looking, but also kinda dramatic for a night out if you apply more coats that would be great. Please & thank you

Hey, i want to find a solution to this problem. I wear either CoverGril lashblast Volume & Almay’s tripple affect, & sometimes i wear maybelline’s volumeboost. Because my covergirl & almay mascara are both black brown they leave brown smudges on my undereyes. When i come home i see brown smudges on the outa corners of my eyes( they run from there all the way to the middle) & people often ask “are you wearing mascara? DUDE WHEN DID YOU SLEEP?!’ & i really don’t like that. I also wear maybelline concealer on my undereyes. Please don’t suggest any primers thank you! & also, i know they ARE mascara smudges is because when i go home & use makeup remover & just wipe the undereyes, black brown mascara comes off. Btw,m all my mascaras are waterproof =)

i use covergirl lash blast mascara & it doesnt com eoff very easily. plz give me some tips on how to remove mascara including what cleanser to use & what to remove it with & how to remove it (example: use a q-tip & rub back & forth)

Ok, so I’m in love with my Maybelline Define a Lash Volume Mascara. But mine’s not waterproof. So I want to get a cheap waterproof mascara that I can use only when I go swimming. I want it to be good enough to withstand swimming & jumping in the pool. It has to be cheap though, because mascara only lasts 3 months, & I’d only use it during the summer, & then I’d have to throw it out. I don’t care if it’s a dollar store brand! It just has to be good, lol!
I’m looking at Maybelline’s Great Lash Waterproof Mascara?

I want to buy one of the DiorShow waterproof mascaras. I don’t know if I should get DiorShow Blackout Waterproof, or just DiorShow waterproof. I want something that can withstand rain, & watery, teary eyes. I really want my eyes to pop! Which one do you think is better? If neither one is that good in your opinion, what waterproof mascara do you think I should buy? I am planning on buying from sephora, but I know that mascara is the one makeup that is okay to buy from drugstores, but I am really iffy on that, because I don’t normally like to use very cheap things in general.

lately i’ve been starting to apply mascara daily, & have been noticing mascara blotches in the corners of my eyes & on the white bits too.
I can’t get them off & they are really annoying!
so how do i get them off?
are they bad for your eyes/eyesight etc.?
how can i stop getting more of them?

I am getting married in Antigua in 4 weeks & just know I will blub my way through it, can anyone recommend a good waterproof mascara that is not mega bucks?
