Mascara Answers

i know Ive asked something like this before, but which one works better? People are saying different things about both. I dont really care if the mascara i buy isnt waterproof as long as it doesnt start running like crazy from a speck of water. They say the regular runs from a drop of water, but then waterproof makes your lashes hard. I dont want any obvious mascara look…i want my lashes to look darker but natural, & softer than what other mascaras make them. And if you had one of these, did it finish quickly? People say theres not much in the bottle…
If you used either one, how did you like the product? Which one doesnt flake or make your lashes hard? If you have any other suggestions, please give them. I have very light eyelashes so i just want to buy a normal priced mascara that darkens my lashes but leaves them natural looking…no hard feeling or flaking. You dont have to answer the questions, if you have a good mascara can you tell me about it? thanks =)

and i dont know what to get.
waterproof is supposedly clumpy but it holds a curl longer if you use the base.
but does the regular mascara do all that even with the base?

mine always runs out really quickly & doesnt work that well. my eyelashes are medium/long but i would still love any mascara that would help make them long & thick.

I know the Hypnose mascara is good, but is the waterproof version just as good?

I’m going swimming afterschool tomorrow, & I use Volume Express mascara. I was wondering if I use my friend’s WATERPROOF Volume Express mascara, & put it over my regular one, will it not come off when I go swimming? I just want to save time, & I don’t want to splurge on waterproof mascara that I will hardly use. Thanks!

Whats the difference besides one being waterproof?

k soo i was at a friends house spendin the night, & i tried her regular great lash mascara, & loved it, i fell asleep with it on, & when i woke up, it didnt look like it changed much!!
ill be a freshman in high school in august, & i need something that STAYS. all the mascaras ive tried flaked on me. so is the waterproof great lash too thick(some waterproof mascaras are for me)? should i get regullar or waterproof?

My eyes are NOT watery, & my eyelids are not oily. The problem is I have a crease under my eyes that all my eye make up smudges on. I’ve always used regular mascara, & they have all smudged on me. So my question is, is waterproof mascara less flaky & smudgy than regular?

I was just wondering if waterproof damages/dehydrates your lashes more than reg. mascara, because as a girl of asian descent blessed with full lashes, I gotta keep my lashes in check! lol As much as I love mascara, I cannot try waterproof for fear of pulling out my lashes & watching them turn dry & brittle. :/
Is it really as bad as i think it is?

I heard from many that waterproof mascaras in general are not good. I want to know is diorshow waterproof mascara is good. Like If it damages my natural eyelashes. If you don’t recommend diorshow waterproof, what waterproof mascaras do u recommend? Imju Fiberwig Mascara?

Would putting a waterproof version on top of your already applied non-water proof mascara make it safe to go swimming in?

the only waterproof mascara I have is brown, & you can’t see it at all on my brown eyelashes. I don’t have time to go shopping before the next time I go swimming, so I was just wondering, do you think this would work?

I want to ensure a curl [waterproof mascara] but also build volume with regular mascara. Also I would like to avoid smudging & raccoon eyes.

I have never tried water-proof mascara. It would be ideal for me to have a water-proof one since I do alot of sports, but I want advice before I spend my money on one. I have makeup remover already, so it’s not a problem. However, does waterproof mascara feel different than regular mascara? I heard it feels crunchy. I’d rather wear regular mascara than a horrible water-proof one. Also, any suggestions about brands?

I have been using mascaras for a very long time & I normally use the Waterproof type. Are Waterproof mascaras only for people who intend to go swimming or are they actually better quality than a non-waterproof formula also it it a lot of harder to remove waterprof mascara?

and they’re both the same brand & everything (for instance, great lash mascara in waterproof & regular).
i noe waterproof lasts longer until u remove it with makeup remover, but is the result from waterproof & regular different?
does regular mascara have better results & make ur eyelashes longer, thicker, softer, etc?
and is waterproof mascara really bad for ur eyelashes? cuz i wear it everyday due to watery eyes from contact lenses & i dont want my eyelashes to fall off or anything…
