Mascara Answers

I have never been a girly girl, because, well I could never afford makeup other than eyeliner. So yesterday I kind of splurged & bought foundation, a new lip color with gloss, & the covergirl exact eyelights mascara, liner & eyeshadow for hazel eyes.
Can anyone give me some tips about applying any of this kind of makeup.
btw I do know that the exact eyelights have instructions on it.

HELP! I got my eyelashes tinted today because I’m going to Florida & don’t want to have to worry about mascara when I go swimming. Well, needless to say the girl doing it messed up. I have the dye ALL over my eyelids…both top & bottom. I look like a crack whore with raccoon eyes. Has this happened to you before? What can I use to try & remove it?

i also have kinda dark undereye circles & light eyelashes should i use mascara?

Its tomorrow. I never take a good picture for the yearbook. I have dark brown hair shoulder length & blue green eyes. I need to know what makeup i can use to make my face look sort of natural but with eyeliner & mascara. Also what clothes will make me look good. And last what to do with my hair. Straightening isnt much of an option because my straightener only goes up to 200 degrees & never keeps it straight all day so some cute hairstyles.

When I usually wear makeup, i usually wear a light purple eyeshadow, a small line of liquid eyeliner (extended for a cat eye look) & mascara. Today I tried something new & bought almost a turquoise color eyeshadow. After I applied it, I put my glasses & it looks washed out & not bright at all.
I have black hair, dark brown eyes, & very light skin
So what colors can go good with my glasses? Should I use bright colors or go calm? Your answers will be appreciated =D

So I want like a foundation that gives a good coverage
A mascara that gives volume & lenght but isn’t too dramatic cause it’s for everyday wear
A good concealer & a lip gloss with no shimmer
I prefer drugstore brands=)

i use eyeliner & mascara sometimes brown eyeshadow…but i want to switch it up… any suggestions?

can someoneplease tell me the proper color of eyeshadow/blush on/lipstick , i dont need mascara since my eyelashes r naturally long & curled but please help with the others
i have white skin,not pale, im part asian, i have golden brown wavy hair. any additional tips for my look would be great! thanks!

* put lotion on your hands & feet at night & wear gloves n socks to sleep. wake up With super soft hands & feet!
* lightly brush your lips with a toothbrush & put vaseline for soft lips.
* for shiny hair, wash off your shampoo/conditioner with cold water
* use tooth paste on any zits to make the swelling go down & make it less red
* instead of purchasing expensive facial scrubs, use a small handful of regular white sugar. just lather up your face with a cleanser, then scrub in the sugar using your finger tips in small circular motions
* to soften your skin & minimize pores, apply beaten egg yolk to your face & let dry for 10 minutes, then rinse
* if you don’t have electronic eyelash curler, heat your normal curler under a hairdryer before using it. it works much better.
* if you have dry cuticles, rub them with lip balm
* a great way to make your perfume last is by spraying it into your hands & rubbing it on your hair. your hair doesn’t sweat so the scent will last all day
* to get rid of annoying eye bags, put a metal spoon into ice cold water & press it gently against your eyes.
* for bigger eyes, apply darker eyeliner on the outer corner of your eyes & brighter eyeliner on the inner corner of your eyes
* To make lips bigger put clear lip gloss in the middle of ur lips.
* to make beautiful temporary curls, wash your hair at night & braid them while it’s wet. then go sleep. you will see the result the next morning when u untie your braids!
* Rub a dry body brush in circular motions on your stomach & legs everyday before you shower. This increases the circulation in you body & helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.
* roll the mascara brush as your putin it on, it avoids clumps
* Soak cloth with hot water (the hottest that you can stand. Be careful though) then put over face for 10 minutes. Then quickly put a cleanser over your face. (Clean & Clear & Noxzema foaming wash are good cleansers) Leave on for 3-4 minutes then wash with ice cold water. This will open your pores, clean them, & then close them. You’ll see results within a week.
* If you have green eyes, wear purple shadow because it brings the color out
If you have blue eyes wear brown because it brings the color out
If you have blue/green eyes , wear a mix of both.
* After applying lipstick, stick your thumb in your mouth, & then slowly pull it out. This removes any lipstick from the inside rim of your lips so you don’t get lipstick on your teeth.
* To minimize the appearance of a pimple, hold ice on it for two minutes. It brings the swelling & redness down.
* before bed add a tiny bit of honey & some water in the palm of your hand & spread it across your face, avoiding the T zone. smooth & soft face int he morning
* Don’t bite the skin around your nails, this causes your nails to look bigger
* If you have big lips, use muted colors such as purples, browns & bronzes.
If you have small lips, avoid dark colors.
* no matter how dry your lips is. don’t lick it! trust me it’ll just make it worse!
* after you have done all your makeup, take some shimmery white eyeshadow & put a tiny bit on the inner corners or your eyes. It really makes them POP!
* Every night an hour before you go to bed, drink 3/4 of a pint of water mixed with 1/4 of a pint of lemon juice. Once you are done, drink a glass of ice water, then go pee. This will help clear your complexion.
* for an overall glow n radiance to your face, mix honey & milk until it’s creamy. wash your face with hot water to open pores. apply the mixture avoiding the T area of your face. wait for 30 minutes & wash off with cold water.
* To remove blackheads, steam for 5 mins & exfoliate immediately.
* Rub vaseline on your eyelashes every night. Smear it in between every single lash & all around your lash line. If you do this every day, it will eventually make your lashes grow in faster & softer.
* Blowing on your nail polish to dry them decreases shine & dulls them. Instead, soak your nails in ice water after your done & if you must, use your blow dryer on low, cool setting just to blow off the water. Now don’t touch anything!
* Pour a tablespoonful of honey into a small bowl. Add two teaspoons of sugar & mix well. Now scoop up all of the mixture with your fingers & massage well into your hands for a few minutes. Sounds yucky but feels great! Rinse & apply hand lotion. Soft! Has anyone tried any of these?? does any really really work??

i dont want them to look bigger or whatever but i just want a look that makes ppl go “oh dammmn, nice eyes .” the thing is my lid overlaps or something like tht, so if i apple eyeliner on top you wouldnt see it, so yup . any tips ? thanks .
oh, & i dont really wanna buy any more makeup stuff, i have eyeliner+sharpener/eyelash curler/thickening mascara/shimmer eyeshadow .

such as freezing you eyeliner for better application, using clear mascara over eyeliner so it doesn’t run or freezing a spoon & using it as an eyelash curler.
does anyone have any interesting tricks or tips like these?

i know what most of you are going to be saying once i tell you that im not very happy with myself ect ect & that i should just deal with it but its worth a try. right so here are some of my problems :/
1. I have short stumpy legs are there any ways to make them look skinnier & longer?
2. I have a huge bump in the middle of my nose & my nose is quite big, anyways to make it appear smaller?
3. ive used TONS of facial products, neutrogena, clearosil, clean & clear, ect & non of them seem to really work for me & i have tons of blackheads are there any ways you can get rid of them without using face products?
4. i have these red blotchy things near my nostrils, ive tried covering it with concealer, foundation & lots more. any ways to cover it up?
5.any mascaras you’d reccommend? i put vaseline on my eyelashes at night & used to put more on my right lashes than my left, so now my right eye lashes are super long & my left looks like i dont even really have any mascara on :\.
6.i have long dark brown dyed hair that comes just a little bit below my chest & i have tons of split ends, & i know that anyone who answers this will say ill need to get my haircut but i wont for another month because im trying to grow it long so any products that could prevent more split ends?

I have blue/gray eyes. I wear makeup everyday but everyone says that it looks like i dont & they are surprised when i say that i wear makeup. I wear mascara, a little eye shadow & concealer. I want to do eyeshadow really good, but how do i do it, any tips on colors or ways to do it. I wear alot of skin tone colors. Thanks in advanced

i’m a thirteen-year old girl who is bored with the way i put on my makeup…any fun & cute tips that are age-appropriate? (for example, lined the inside of your bottom lid with white liner to make eyes look brighter, or winged eyeliner/eyeshadow, etc.)
a few things about me:
-i’m asian, so my eyelids don’t have big creases. they do have creases, but not ones like caucasian eyelids.
-i’m not allowed to wear eyeliner except for white eyeliner, ones in neutral tones, & a little bit of brown eyeliner.
-but, i am allowed to wear eyeshadow & mascara.
any tips or cute ways to do my makeup? or, any sites with tips would be great as well.

Is there a trick to making your eyelashes look really long, thick, & black? Like what mascara? And any tips? Also how do you apply your eyeliner so it looks really dark?

this is my first year wearing make-up. & i already know how to apply all the eye-liner, concealer & stuff but i don’t have eye lids, so i don’t know how to apply eye shadow correctly. i usualy put the eye shadow where my lids are suppose to be but it won’t show unless i look down. also, can you guys give me some good tips for eye-make up? i’m sick of just putting eye-liner & mascara. I need a whole new look basically.
I’m starting a new job soon & I want to make a good impression…
at the minute I wear a lot of make up, heavy eyebrows, loads of eye shadow, liner & mascara & probably too much blusher, I’m good at applying it as I used to be a beauty consultant.
So do you have any advice for a more natural look?
I have small eyes, dark hair but pale skin. Full lips, & quite sculpted cheek bones… if that helps?!
