I don’t want any chazalions or styes. I read the styes are caused by staph, so how could vaseline cause them? Does anyone here use vaseline to make their eyelashes longer? If you do, please tell me if it works or not. Lol, is there a doctor in the house?

does it remove waterproof mascara?

actually….it will cause your eyelashes to GROW!!! for the past couple of weeks i’ve been rubbing castor oil & vaseling on my eyelashes…and they gotten thiCKER & longer!!!!
so no. vaseline will not make your eyelashes fall out.

Yes, it works really well! BUT it also causes milia, those little tiny white bumps near your eyes (usually underneath) that are actually cysts & are almost impossible to get rid of.
Prescriptives (at Macy’s) has a great eye makeup remover that’s oil free. It’s not as cheap as vaseline, but it gets rid of my super-strength-almost-have-to-chisel-off mascara.

i heard some people use vaseline to remove mascara & other make-up. does it work? if so, how to i use it to remove mascara??

With eyes closed applythe vaseline, leave on for a minute then wipe off with a tissue, repeat until tissues are free of mascara residue. Simple

i juust started using mascara, & i hear vaseline can be used to remove it…is it too hard & too messy though? if not, HOW do i use vaseline to remove it?
i also DO NOT HAVE professional make-up remover,, & no baaby oil….is towel & cloth okay to remove mascara as well?……HOW?

I do not have time to go buy eyemakeup remover & i would like to know if theres an effective way to remove waterproof mascara/eyeliner, besides vaseline.

actually i don’t know, but here’s a tip: take an empty mascara, put Castor oil in it, & put it on ur eyelashes with the mascara brush. I’ve tried it, & it’s so gr8 & helpful, u should try it:)

I head that if you put Vaseline either with your hand or a clean mascara brush before bed they grow longer. What kind of Vaseline?? Like the tin lip ones of the body lotion ones???

Henna will not work as an eye makeup procduct since it is a natural plant product & is not clean nor sterilized.
It could easily cause eye infections because it is just the ground up leaves of the henna bush.
Petroleum produts like vaseline should also not be used near the eyes since it might irritate the mucus membranes. It can cause blurred vision. You can buy special bacitracin for use around theeyes-opthalmic bacitracin.

Keep it in your freezer if you are not using it soit will stay potent for you.

I’ve heard putting some Vaseline on your eyelashes & eyebrows can make them thicker, healthier, longer, etc. Is it true?
Usually I use a clean mascara wand with nothing on it, dip it into the Vaseline, & apply it to my lashes just like I would with mascara. Am I actually doing anything beneficial? And can you tell me any other cosmetic (beauty) uses for Vaseline? I’d like to incorporate it into my beauty routine.

i recently started wearing mascara & i havent found a really good way to remove it yet
a lot of people were saying to use vaseline
i tried it & i thought it was pretty good
but is it good for your eyelashes?
doesnt it clog pores?
i dont want to spend money on more makeup remover
so if anyone also has really good ways to remove mascara (besides moisturizer. ive already tried it) please tell me!
