Mascara Answers

Hello there! I’m a fifteen year old teenager who just started wearing a refining powder to cover my blemishes or red zits. I purchased it from Macy’s, & the brand is called, “ORIGINS” & the color is Amaretto 20.
My make up routine is quite simple:
1) Before bed, I apply cocoa butter to my face.
In the morning, I wash my face with Clean & Clear Morning Burst.
2) I moisturize with a shine control face cream from Clean & Clear.
3) I apply a little bit of the powder to a large foofy brush & brush over my skin & neck.
4) I add some blush to the apples of my cheeks & put some chapstick on my lips.
5) ** I don’t wear mascara, because my eyelashes are incredibly long. If I do wear it, I lightly coat the upper & lower lashes. But this is extremely rare.
Is my make up routine too much? Will it damage my skin?

I have eyes that are hard to define in terms of color,they are a mixture of grey,green & blue. Which color eyeshadow will be best with them?what about eyeliner & mascara?I have very fair skin as well.

such as Vaseline or oil..I dont have a clue…face wash isnt working neither is bar soap…I dont want to go spend money that i dont have on eye makeup remover! can anyone give me some suggestions please? thank you

So I just started using mascara a few weeks ago & yesterday when I took it off a bunch of my eyelashes fell off. They’re very thick & healthy & I love how they look so I got really scared when that happened. My mom said that her eyelashes used to be nice like that too but she wore a lot of mascara & they sorta fell off, but she didn’t tell me so I wouldn’t get scared.
Is this normal? And do you know of a good, inexpensive kind of mascara that isn’t bad, or at least a gentle way of removing it?

Well i have gotten a couple of answers & i tried a couple colors but they didn’t look good on me have any other colors?

Before I go to bed I …..
1) Clean on all my make-up with ATHENA BEAUTE Facial Cleansing Wipes with Aloe Vera.
2) Use Clearasil “Skin Perfecting Wash” sensitive all over my face.
3) LACURA Aqua Complete moisturiser on my dry skin areas.
4) Clean&Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser on my nose
5) Clean&Clear Advantage quick clear spot treatment gel on my spots (which are dotted around everywhere).
+ the only make-up I wear now is eyeliner, maybe eyeshadow, mascara, maybe blusher, lipgloss, & concelaer covering blemishes.
If I keep this going for quite a while will my skin become clear, or am I using too many products at night which will clog up all my pores?
Any tips/advice etc; TELL ME!
btw.. random question: Does mane & tail shampoo really make your hair grow faster?

Any tips? Like how do you put mascara on? Do you curl your eyelashes first then mascara or the other way? I would like to keep it looking quite natural as well, price doesnt matter. Anything helps!

FACE;Concealer, primer, foundation & powder applied extremely THICK, & heavily caked on blusher.
EYES:Beautifully drawn on eyebrows, megathick black eyeliner & long false eyelashes covered in TONS of thick mascara. Lots of bright eyeshadow, prefably blue.
LIPS:Overpainted with thick red lipstick & glossed till theyre (almost) dripping wet!
You will look VERY VERY sexy!

Ok, so it is to be that after wearing glasses for a long time, your eyes will change shape. Thus, when I take off my glasses, people always say I look worse than before. I also have dark bags under my eyes. I am also asian so my eyelids seem to disapper when I open my eyes. Along with that, I am in a competative chorus, so I can’t wear glasses. Thus, how can my eyes look “normal” & more pretty? (eyecolor= black). I also want my eyes to stand out more & look better. I mean, people say that they are used to seeing my eyes with glasses, so how can I make my eyes better with makeup so people can say that I am better without my glasses? I’m getting contacts too, so that may help without wearing my glasses. Any suggestions or tips- mascara, & stuff? I want my eyes to look poped out instead of deep set too. Thanks,

I don’t want any chazalions or styes. I read the styes are caused by staph, so how could vaseline cause them? Does anyone here use vaseline to make their eyelashes longer? If you do, please tell me if it works or not. Lol, is there a doctor in the house?

I use Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner – it’s stays the best of all that I’ve tried. I like a thin black line on my top lashline. The liner stays nice all day, but somehow, some color ends up under my eyes at the end of the day. I think it’s coming off my lashes (from when I apply it). I hardly wear mascara because it always runs. Any ideas? Thanks.

So im 13 & i have these light blonde lashes, which i hate. I’m not allowed to wear any makeup, not even lipgloss or nailpolish for goodness sake. I want to start wearing some mascara, which I can buy at a store close to my school in the morning with my lunchmoney. Hell, she doesn’t even think i know what mascara is, so will she be able to tell if im wearing it, or will she just think i have thick lashes??
Oh, & any tips on application would be helpful too. I have used a friends once, so I know the basics & how to get it not to clump, but any tips that could make my mascara look nicer would be helpful.

i am super ugly
and i want to werar makeup but my mom wont let me wear even just a little mascara. i am in 7 grade attending a nyc middle school & mh mom wont let me wear makeup untill highschool or possisbly 8 grade. & the year has just started. i think that im really ugly & i cant wear makeup…any tips on how to look pretty with out makeup

well im 19 nearly 20, & never had an acne problem in my life up until earlier this year when i moved back into my parents home!!…
i started to get small ones, & just started using clean & clear cleanser, & regularly cleaning my face because i wear foundation & mascara & eyeliner everyday!!
i noticed that i became heaps stressed living here, so i would just listen to meditation music, & go for walks & stuff to try & stop stressing…
slowly it started to become worse, so i started to use proactive & tried to minimize the makeup & drink loads of water…
it kind of worked, but i wasnt patient enough, so i paid a visit to the doctor & he prescribed me the dianne contraceptive pill!
but! my sister went on it & she gained weight, i know friends who went on it & they gained weight, & im worried because if i do take it then i may gain weight & im already over weight ??
what should i do? & if i do take it… would exercising regularly & eating more healthily help for maintaining or losing weight rather than stacking it on ??

b cuz i cant seem 2 find colored eye mascara so i wuz wondering wat would happen if i put hair mascara on would it take mye eyelashes out or something?
