Mascara Answers

It’s just a little something I wrote… I’m sure it’s easy to figure out, but do you think of it? Also, don’t expect it to be beautiful- I’m only fifteen. Just so you know, it is completely non-fiction, & I’m sorry if it’s a little cheesy. Also, sorry if the category was poorly chosen- I had a difficult time with that. You should be able to figure out the rest. Thanks in advance
This girl will not stop staring at me.
I *know* this girl. At least I used to. However, she can’t be the one I’m thinking of. The girl in front of me looks on with a sheepish smile & eyes which do not glance around out of worry, but instead look on with great determination.
This girl has a great body, & neatly straightened hair which is both healthy & not too voluminous, not too thin. This girl has breasts, real breasts, & an amazing butt, one which fills out the dark blue jeans nicely. Her make-up is applied carefully, not poured on, & the mascara compliments her already-long eyelashes.
The girl laughs at me, & I know it is out of love. I can hear past the laugh into her soul, & I hear the sound of true happiness, without a hint of sadness or fear.
The girl has plans- she will spend time with her friends this week, but will also find time to do her laundry, keep her bedroom & closet clean, & complete her homework- all without stress. She also will let her guard down and, although she will never forgive, she knows to forget. Alas, she has long-term plans as well. They’re still a bit confusing, but she’s getting there.
I’m confused, but proud nonetheless. Can this truly be the young girl I’ve always known? Is this what she’s grown into? And is this the one who not long ago was plagued by depression?
No, it can’t be. Can it?
Is this a miracle, or is there something seriously wrong with my mirror?

Sometimes when I sleep over at my friends’ houses, they don’t bother to brush their teeth or wash their face before they go to bed. I’m not sure if it’s just because I’m there, but I make no exceptions to doing that. I always have to do it, & keep to my routine. (99% of the time)
My question is – do you take off your makeup before you go to bed, or am I the only one? None of my friends get acne, but if I don’t clean my makeup off before sleep, my skin will get revenge on me.
Also if you do, how long does it take you?
I’ll be honest, I wear a lot of makeup. It doesn’t take me long to put on, but I wear foundation, some blush, mascara, eyeliner, & some eyeshadow. I use cold cream & eye makeup remover, & it takes me only 5 minutes.

Whats your skin routine morning & night?

I curl my eyelashes to make them longer, but when I apply mascara my eyelashes just fall down & never stays up no matter how much or how little mascara I put on. When I don’t put mascara on, my eyelashes are fine. So I want to know how to make your eye lashes thicker & longer? Which mascara is the best to use for me cuz I have thin eyelashes?

I have dark brown hair & dark brown eyes. I’ve always thought that I looked kind of boring since the colors are so plain. Since I’m still fairly young, I only use a tiny bit of makeup. I use a great moisturizer, & a little liquid black eyeliner. Sometimes I’ll wear eyeshadow-usually a darker color. And I never really wear mascara since my lashes are already pretty long & curled (a bit). I don’t wear foundation or coverup because my skin really isn’t flawed.
I have-for a lack of a better word- “scene” hair, & i’m going for that type of makeup style but nothing really extreme.
Please don’t say that younger girls shouldn’t wear makeup & such, I already wear it & i’m not going to stop just because a few people over the internet tell me not to.
And I wash it off every night that I do use it. I don’t wear makeup too much. Only for school & when i’m going out (not just a trip to the grocery store or anything but as in going to the mall, movies, etc etc.)
So please just give advice on the question, not that I shouldn’t wear it. Thanks!

I’ve heard that using tem after you’ve applied mascara, while more effective, can cause your lashes to break after an extended period of time. Is this true?
What about using the curler BEFORE appling mascara?

Hello everyone! I was just wondering how other girl my age beautify themselves. I am 17 & here is my beauty routine…
1. St. Ives facial cleanser & makeup remover
2. anti-aging face cream (never to early to start!)
3. vitamin C eye gel (rejuvenates eyes & reduces puffiness)
4. Shimmery body lotion
4. Makeup – foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, a small amount of pink blush, & shimmery chapstick or plain vaseline.
5. St.Ives facial cleanser & makeup remover before bed
6. Night face cream
Also, before I shower I apply olive oil all over my body, even in my hair. And once or twice a week I make my own facial mask – cooked oatmeal & honey. Oh, & lots of water & daily vitamins. What are your beauty tips & secrets???

uh, no.. lol.
they wouldnt make something that was actually bad for your eyelashes
but if you try & take the mascara off by pulling it off, that might be bad because you can rip off your eyelashes.

As a man I don’t wear mascara but the answer to this is pretty simple nontheless…
I’ve observed quite a few women putting on mascara in my time & it seems that most of them tip their heads back when they do this. I suppose this is to give them a better view of their eyelash. Now, if you sit in your seat there & tip your head back as you would to apply mascara you will feel a slight pull on your bottom jaw because the skin on your neck is stretched tight. In order to release this tension you naturally open your mouth (as your upper jaw is not constrained by your neck).
Try it… Having your mouth open a bit is more natural & more comfortable…

I have pretty good skin. I hardly get pimples or anything like that but I have noticed that when I use certain face cleansers like clean & clear exfoliating wash & morning cleansers it makes my face start to peal. I am currently using my daughters Aveeno baby wash for sensitive skin (she has slight eczema & its the only thing that seems to work) So anyway…. I am thinking that the Aveeno baby wash is probably not giving me the “cleanse” i should be getting. I also use my daughters Aveeno baby lotion or the Vaseline lotions & it seems like that has been something that has tamed my dry skin. I do wear a dept store moisturizer at night & during the day. I tried using Oil of Olay moisturizing cream but it made my face feel tight & dry.
I also tried using the oil of Olay toner but it only made my face itchy & tight. I want to make sure I am taking good care of my skin. I am 23 & I am starting to see fine lines under my eyes, on my forehead, & some crows feet. I also have horrible dark circles under my eyes that seem to work with any concealer. I do drink plenty of water (2-3 liters a day) & I wear SPF, sunglasses, & hat when I go out. I don’t really wear much makeup either. Just some tinted moisturizer, bronzer, blush & mascara & eyeliner when I feel like I need the pzas. ‘
If you could give me some face wash, & eye cream suggestions I would really appreciate it. I know that retinol (which is vitamin a) is great for wrinkles but I am currently 4 months pregnant & well I’d rather stay away from retinol right now.

i’ve tried so many waterproof mascaras but I can’t seem to find one I like.
I don’t want one that once you go in the water for a while & you come out there’s clumps of mascara all over your face. also I would like one that doesn’t clump your eyelashes when it gets wet.

okay so i have a mole in the corner of my eye that gets mistaken for mascara & one on my other eye ball u can barley tell that i have them unless i point them out but ive noticed them when i was like 7 & im 19 now… it just bothers me knowing that i have them its kinda nasty…neways has anyone had this problem & had them removed & if so did it hurt????

I just ran a few of mine under water but alot of my makeup isn’t clean becuase i’ve been going to freinds houses & forgetting to put my makeup in a bag to protect it so i guess it has a lot of bacteria now. I dont’ want to throw it all away but what could i do about it? I have eyeliner & will sharpening it make the bacteria go away? Ive heard that before. but i also had mascara but its in a a tube, powder foundation that was in a compact, & two things of eyeshadow.they were both uncovered. What should i do?

ok well I have brown eyes & I tried a dark green eyeshadow under my eyes (i used it as eyeliner) & loved how it looked. So I was wondering can I use my Great Lash mascara (soft black) with my eyeshadow/eyeliner if its not the same color? I like natural make up & all I wear is eyeliner mascara adn some powder on my nose so I dont want it to look like im wearing makeup.
