Mascara Answers

Each time I apply mascara, it gets all over my face & not on the lashes, or it gets all clumpy. Do you have any useful tips or tricks?

My eyelashes are really long & straight which is quite annoying because it means that even when I use an eyelash curler & apply mascara, they seem to fall down & at the end of the day I just have thick & long (good) straight (bad) & pointing downwards (bad) lashes.
Anyone got any tips? thanks

I have a problem I have to face on a daily basis. After I curl my eyelashes, everything is fine (by “fine” I mean that my eyelashes are curled exactly the way I like them) & then once I apply mascara (even if it’s just one, thin coat) my eyelashes lose the curl & you can’t even tell that I spent time curling them.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Help!!

i curl my eyelashes every day & no matter how hard i try as soon as i apply mascara they droop & straighten out. Ive seen a liquid like a perm for eyelashes but cant use as i am 7 months pregnant. Is there anything i can do ?

Whenever I use any mascara in the morning while I’m getting ready they always make my semi-short eyelashes long & luscious but as the day wears on they start to get shorter & I have to keep on Re-applying the mascara which just makes my eyelashes clumpy & they’re never as long as they were earlier in the day.
Is there any type of special mascara or technique I could use to keep my eyelashes long all day?

i’m pretty satisfied with my daily mascara routine. i have thick asian eyelashes but they are very straight. so i curl & apply mascara. but i would like more definition because my eyelashes dont all go directly straight, they’re pretty wild since i have so many. it gets pretty annoying. any mascara that you recommend that will define & straighten out my thick lashes?

I’m looking for a mascara that gives nice volume because I’ve got kinda thin lashes, & definition & separation because I hate when mascaras clump =/
Also if it could be natural looking, but also kinda dramatic for a night out if you apply more coats that would be great. Please & thank you

I curl my eyelashes to make them longer, but when I apply mascara my eyelashes just fall down & never stays up no matter how much or how little mascara I put on. When I don’t put mascara on, my eyelashes are fine. So I want to know how to make your eye lashes thicker & longer? Which mascara is the best to use for me cuz I have thin eyelashes?

For some reason when I apply mascara I can get it to look all good & fine & curled & pretty but 10 minutes later instead of being curled up they stick straight out like they’re going to poke somebody in the face.
I use a lash curler & everything honestly is fine then i go through the day & they point out!

lately i’ve been starting to apply mascara daily, & have been noticing mascara blotches in the corners of my eyes & on the white bits too.
I can’t get them off & they are really annoying!
so how do i get them off?
are they bad for your eyes/eyesight etc.?
how can i stop getting more of them?

I’ve heard that using tem after you’ve applied mascara, while more effective, can cause your lashes to break after an extended period of time. Is this true?
What about using the curler BEFORE appling mascara?

Like without changing my mascara because I have alot of the Loreal extend or something like that anyway is there anything while applying the mascara to make them longer & thicker or anything(besides a curler cause i do that? Or any techniques when applying? I know it sounds dumb but i would appreciate any answers! Thanks:)

i have to put eye make up on before i go out every day but have the same problem all the time!
i have bought enough mascaras too last me for ever, including chanel, lancome & every shop brand you can think of ( rimmel, maxfatro, matbeline etc.) i keept thinking its the mascaras fault but they all end up doing the same thing. my eye lashes arnt long & without make up are quite bent. so whenevr i apply mascara my lashes do NOT get seperated the lashes go in to like 3 sections & stick together & do get really long however some dont so my lashes look very messy! it happens every time so it may be how i apply it even thoe i thought theres only one way to apply mascara! please help with tips or suggestions thanks! xx

Have your mouth open while applying it or do you have it closed?
I’ve always done it with my mouth closed & every girl I know has her mouth wide open. They trip out on me & I trip out on them lol. Does it help you out more to apply the mascara or what? Just a little curious!

As a man I don’t wear mascara but the answer to this is pretty simple nontheless…
I’ve observed quite a few women putting on mascara in my time & it seems that most of them tip their heads back when they do this. I suppose this is to give them a better view of their eyelash. Now, if you sit in your seat there & tip your head back as you would to apply mascara you will feel a slight pull on your bottom jaw because the skin on your neck is stretched tight. In order to release this tension you naturally open your mouth (as your upper jaw is not constrained by your neck).
Try it… Having your mouth open a bit is more natural & more comfortable…

Most mascara brush shapes are those tall slim shapes, but why is the telescopic mascara a round ball?? It’s a really good mascara & I have been recommended to buy it so I am, but I dont know how your meant to apply it! Do you just apply it normally?? I don’t see how it works Please help! x
