Mascara Answers

I need a new face wash (preferably neutrogena or clean & clear). The Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing stuff made my face break out so maybe something not so rough. Any suggestions?? Just a regular cleansing stuff to keep my skin clear & to prevent acne (because i dont have any & i want to keep it that way)
Also…. I need an eyeliner that won’t smudge & won’t look like washed mascara at the end of the day (stays the same all day & doesn’t run) Preferably a good brand from wal mart.

The trip is to cape code, i’ll be on a bus (w/ my purse) for 3 hrs. with a break at an aquarium & then the last three hrs. We are leaving at 6 in the morning on Friday & will return at 9 at night on sunday(3days 2 nights)

So recently,there has been dry spots near both of my eyes.It’s like pealing,and sometimes when i remove makeup or wash my face,it burns like crazy!some of the dry parts are a little below & above my eye,but not that much.There could be two possibilities.Its either the makeup eyeliner im using,or the clean & clear products.Now,i’ve been using clean & clear for awhile,maybe about 4 months.So,i’m not sure if that’s the problem.But the eyeliners that I use are either Almay liquid or revlon kohl pencil.I just started to use the almay liquid,but I stopped.But i’m not really sure about the dryness & everything near my eyes.But I am getting it checked up real soon at the dermatologist.
But has anyone else experienced this kind of situation?If so,how long did it take to go away,and what was the cause??
By the way,Im not wearing any eyeliner/mascara for awhile(mom said) which really sucks.But right now im putting a bit of aveeno lotion around the dryness because it helps.If that’s bad,please let me know,I don’t want my face to turn out horrible.

I don’t have bad skin, but I have a bit of acne, & my nose is always dry. Drives me NUTS. I’ve been using clean & clear & the acne’s cleared up a bit but it won’t actually go away, & thank god it doesnt dry out my skin (don’t use proactiv i repeat don’t….your face will PEEL it’s gross).
About the dry skin, it’s always around my nose & cheekbones & I have no idea why. I’ve been using moisturizer (that’s made for the face & stuff) & it helps temporarily but then by the end of the dry it’s dry again. What do you recomend? I need something that really works, have any ideas for a tinted moisturizer? I have light olive skin… also please only tell me if it’s affordable xD I saw one that was like $30. Just a good tinted moisturizer that’s all I need.
Any other ideas on how I can make my skin look good? So far I just need a good moisturizer & maybe a slightly stronger acne medication (clean & clear really did make my acne less noticeable (it was never actually bad in the first place just got on my nerves) but it never made it completely go away).
I don’t wear a lot of make-up, I guess I’m naturally pretty (not bragging). Just some eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss & maybe a little blush….. so, any tips to help me with my skin? xD

ok so im 13 & my family cant afford to send me to a real dermatologist. & we cant really afford lots of expensive medications that might not even work. so here is a description of what my skin is like…
i have very oily skin. right after i wash my face its not too oily but about 5 minutes after its really oily again. i try not to touch my face a lot, & i try to buy oil free skin products. the acne on my forehead & chin is like so : some pimples & the rest (a lot) are small little skin colored bumps. & on my chin i have tons of little whiteheads. i also have whiteheads on my under eye area. i get those same little bumps (i guess their pimples) around the corners of my nose. i have blackheads on my nose & a couple acne scars from where i (foolishly) poped pimples. i have very large very dark purpley blue under eye circles & i also have eye bags. i have little red blotches on my cheeks. yes i do wear makeup. i wear oil free dermatologist tested liquid foundation that wont clog pores. i also wear a very thick layer of concealer (which doesnt even fully cover the circles). & i wear mascara & blush. but thats it. i have two small little red dots on the line of my bottom lip. they look like they could be really small red pimples. but theyve been there for a while & they havent changed.
this is my skin care routine…
i wash my face with clean&clear face wash. then i use witch hazel as an astrigent on my skin. then i use acne treatment moisturizer by clean&clear. my routine doesnt seem to be doing anything to my skin at all. i would really appreciate some tips. & maybe some home remedies. im kinda scared to try any home remedies right now because they might make my skin worse.
im making my skin sound really bad & ugly. it isnt too bad but i would never go out in public without my foundation & concealer. thanks for anything!

Hello there! I’m a fifteen year old teenager who just started wearing a refining powder to cover my blemishes or red zits. I purchased it from Macy’s, & the brand is called, “ORIGINS” & the color is Amaretto 20.
My make up routine is quite simple:
1) Before bed, I apply cocoa butter to my face.
In the morning, I wash my face with Clean & Clear Morning Burst.
2) I moisturize with a shine control face cream from Clean & Clear.
3) I apply a little bit of the powder to a large foofy brush & brush over my skin & neck.
4) I add some blush to the apples of my cheeks & put some chapstick on my lips.
5) ** I don’t wear mascara, because my eyelashes are incredibly long. If I do wear it, I lightly coat the upper & lower lashes. But this is extremely rare.
Is my make up routine too much? Will it damage my skin?

my mom & i made a deal that i can’t wear makeup until I’m 14, but i thought the rule was stupid so i broke it anyway while she was at work. I’m 12, almost 13 in march. i went into her room & i started rambling around until i found her makeup box & i watched some makeup gurus on youtube on how to apply eyeliner & stuff like that. it was like in the afternoon….. probably 1 o clock.
i wore eye shadow , eye liner, mascara , lip stick, some liquid stuff (i cant curl my lashes because im scared of ripping out my lashes) & some blush, & i thougt i looked really good but then i heard my moms car in the driveway & i panicked
anyway i ran i put everything away first & then i ran into the bathroom & grabbed a towel ( i didnt look to see what it was but it was clean) & i wiped it off really hard & really quickly with water (omg im so stupid!! water doesnt take it off very well ) anyway i didn’t realize that the towel i used WAS MY MOMS TOWEL because when i looked down at the corner there was her initials there & now there is black makeup on it from my eyes… & i tried really hard to clean it out with soap even but it didnt come off…
my mom still has not noticed her towel yet but plzz help me get off the makeup i beg you!!!!
she wipes her makeup off at night & shes going to see her towl is missing & shes going to ask me questions!!! im so worried shes going to yell at me

so, i have some acne on my face. yeah yeah, everybody gets it here & there, i know. i mean, its not bad acne, just a couple tiny pimples here & there. but what i want to know is how to get rid of it really fast. every morning when i take a shower i wash my face with clean & clear exfoliating cleanser (it contains benzoyl peroxide acne medication, it also exfoliates skin, treats pimples, & helps prevent breakouts; sounded pretty good when i bought it), & when im out of the shower i use witch hazel to reduce the redness (theyre always kind of red in the morning), & i use the witch hazel again at night before i go to sleep, & occasionally, in an attempt to get rid of a bad pimple, i put clean & clear spot treatment on my nose, forehead, & cheeks.
another fact to back this up: i wear eye makeup (eyeshadow & mascara); just for the record its the only kind of makeup i wear. i dont take it off at night, only because im too lazy. would the fact that i dont take my makeup off before i go to sleep affect my acne at all ?
if anyone has any good recommendations on what to do to get rid of this slight acne, any products i should buy, or anything else that could help me get rid of it, & FAST, let me know !

i would be lying if i said, as a girl, i did not care about a guy’s opinion. i honestly do, to an extent.
that’s just crazy if girls say they don’t care at all. then why do some girls wear loads of makeup, thongs, slutty clothing, etc? because they are trying so hard. it’s sad.
i admit i care, but i balance it out by thinking of what i like as well. i think a beautiful face is important, but i stop when it comes to wearing layers of makeup. i will go far enough to make sure i clean my face everyday, wax my eyebrows, wear perfume, a little bit of foundation, & mascara. that’s enough, in my opinion to attract guys, at least the guys that i want to attract. & the honest truth is guys do the same exact thing.

but the thing is my face has no imperfections (knock on wood) & it just looks like i have flawless skin & it just looks like rosey cheeks & pretty eyes.
it doesnt look like allot.!

* put lotion on your hands & feet at night & wear gloves n socks to sleep. wake up With super soft hands & feet!
* lightly brush your lips with a toothbrush & put vaseline for soft lips.
* for shiny hair, wash off your shampoo/conditioner with cold water
* use tooth paste on any zits to make the swelling go down & make it less red
* instead of purchasing expensive facial scrubs, use a small handful of regular white sugar. just lather up your face with a cleanser, then scrub in the sugar using your finger tips in small circular motions
* to soften your skin & minimize pores, apply beaten egg yolk to your face & let dry for 10 minutes, then rinse
* if you don’t have electronic eyelash curler, heat your normal curler under a hairdryer before using it. it works much better.
* if you have dry cuticles, rub them with lip balm
* a great way to make your perfume last is by spraying it into your hands & rubbing it on your hair. your hair doesn’t sweat so the scent will last all day
* to get rid of annoying eye bags, put a metal spoon into ice cold water & press it gently against your eyes.
* for bigger eyes, apply darker eyeliner on the outer corner of your eyes & brighter eyeliner on the inner corner of your eyes
* To make lips bigger put clear lip gloss in the middle of ur lips.
* to make beautiful temporary curls, wash your hair at night & braid them while it’s wet. then go sleep. you will see the result the next morning when u untie your braids!
* Rub a dry body brush in circular motions on your stomach & legs everyday before you shower. This increases the circulation in you body & helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.
* roll the mascara brush as your putin it on, it avoids clumps
* Soak cloth with hot water (the hottest that you can stand. Be careful though) then put over face for 10 minutes. Then quickly put a cleanser over your face. (Clean & Clear & Noxzema foaming wash are good cleansers) Leave on for 3-4 minutes then wash with ice cold water. This will open your pores, clean them, & then close them. You’ll see results within a week.
* If you have green eyes, wear purple shadow because it brings the color out
If you have blue eyes wear brown because it brings the color out
If you have blue/green eyes , wear a mix of both.
* After applying lipstick, stick your thumb in your mouth, & then slowly pull it out. This removes any lipstick from the inside rim of your lips so you don’t get lipstick on your teeth.
* To minimize the appearance of a pimple, hold ice on it for two minutes. It brings the swelling & redness down.
* before bed add a tiny bit of honey & some water in the palm of your hand & spread it across your face, avoiding the T zone. smooth & soft face int he morning
* Don’t bite the skin around your nails, this causes your nails to look bigger
* If you have big lips, use muted colors such as purples, browns & bronzes.
If you have small lips, avoid dark colors.
* no matter how dry your lips is. don’t lick it! trust me it’ll just make it worse!
* after you have done all your makeup, take some shimmery white eyeshadow & put a tiny bit on the inner corners or your eyes. It really makes them POP!
* Every night an hour before you go to bed, drink 3/4 of a pint of water mixed with 1/4 of a pint of lemon juice. Once you are done, drink a glass of ice water, then go pee. This will help clear your complexion.
* for an overall glow n radiance to your face, mix honey & milk until it’s creamy. wash your face with hot water to open pores. apply the mixture avoiding the T area of your face. wait for 30 minutes & wash off with cold water.
* To remove blackheads, steam for 5 mins & exfoliate immediately.
* Rub vaseline on your eyelashes every night. Smear it in between every single lash & all around your lash line. If you do this every day, it will eventually make your lashes grow in faster & softer.
* Blowing on your nail polish to dry them decreases shine & dulls them. Instead, soak your nails in ice water after your done & if you must, use your blow dryer on low, cool setting just to blow off the water. Now don’t touch anything!
* Pour a tablespoonful of honey into a small bowl. Add two teaspoons of sugar & mix well. Now scoop up all of the mixture with your fingers & massage well into your hands for a few minutes. Sounds yucky but feels great! Rinse & apply hand lotion. Soft! Has anyone tried any of these?? does any really really work??

I am totally throwing out all of my make up collection & starting over again as i need new makeup.i want to try new brands/products as i was unhappy with a lot of the products in my old collection.I need the following things:
Mascara- I have long eyelashes already so im not looking for one thats really lengthening. The most important thing i look for in my mascara is that it doesn’t clump & one that i don’t need to put heaps of coats on to get a nice finish.
Eyeshadow – I have brown eyes so i want colors that suit brown eyes. i love neutrals & chocolates/espressos/browns shades & id like eyeshadow that isnt too shimmery, more matte as im wearing it during the day.
Liquid eyeliner- Ive never used liquid eyeliner but i want to start using it so it has to be easy for a beginner to use. I want one with a matte finish that is easy to apply & does not fade or run. In a black shade.
Pencil eyeliner- Either retractable or normal, it doesn’t worry me. I want two, one in a black shade & one in a brown shade. I want one that doesn’t smudge easily & i don’t have to keep reapplying during the day but one that i can blend into my lash line.
Foundation- Can be liquid, powder, mineral, i don’t care what. I want one that gives my skin a clean, natural, fresh look & that is not too heavy on my skin or will clog my pores
Lip colour- Either gloss , stain or lipstick. I want two, one in a berry shade & one in a nude shade. I want one that doesn’t run & doesn’t feel too heavy.
I live in Australia so i want brands that are available here or globally, such as Maybelline, Covergirl, Revlon, Max Factor etc. I also don’t want to spend more than $35 dollars per item. So any suggestions of products i can get?
