Mascara Answers

Okay, so I know there’s a lot of questions about this topic but my mom is being ridiculous. I’m 13 & in 7th grade & this year she started letting me wear foundation, blush, & a little bit of mascara. She won’t but me those big volumizing tubes of mascara, only the skinny brushes & whatever. Also I can’t wear eyeliner, & eyeshadow which doesn’t make since to me. It really bugs me because I have to sneak on eyeliner when she leaves for work or on the bus. I wash it off before she gets home but sometimes she can tell I was wearing it & gets all up in my face & snappy & I hate it. I put it on nicely & right on my waterline so I don’t look like a skank/whore/hoe or anything, & eye shadow isn’t even bad! I think I should be able to make my own decisions by now & me & my mom already have a bad relationship & this is making it worse because I’m going behind her back. Advice please?

why can’t i use black eyeliner without it looking too dark for my face & making my eyes look smaller? I have dirty blond hair, blue eyes, & fairly tan skin (not pasty but not dark). My eyes are roundish-almond shaped & my eyebrows are brown. I really want my blue eyes to beam & i’ve been told that black eyeliner & mascara can do that but like i mentioned above, i have issues with black. WHY? & do you have any advice?

My little sister is having her 3rd birthday party tommorow, & I need some makeup advice. I’m a brunette with a few blonde highlights here & there & i have a good tan. (A natural tan at that.) I have light brown eyes & no freckles. I’m looking for a sheerish look, but I wanna wear eyeliner & mascara. I also need ideas for hair, I was thinking about curling it… oh, & my hair is naturally wavy. its about 2-4 inches past my shoulders.
im making kind of a big deal out of this because its my sisters first birthday party that people are actually going to, so i wanna make a good impression, because we just moved & my family thats coming hasnt seen me in like, a year. so i wanna look nice & pretty.

i’m having to stay with my grandma while my mom is out of town for the next few weeks. my mom is laidback & lets me like what i want to like; but my grandma is totally different. she says i was pretty until i got my nose pierced. it’s just a tiny stud in my nose, i don’t understand what difference that makes? i walked into the kitched the other morning wearing an insane clown posse tshirt & she screamed at me to take it off. so i go put on shorts & a hollister tank top & she tells me i look like a sl*t. later on i was in my room listening to icp [at a reasonable level] & she comes in & tells me to turn off the devil’s music. i don’t wear that much makeup, just some light eyeshadow, a bit of eyeliner, some mascara, & little blush. she tells me i look like a hooker & classy girls don’t wear makeup; yet i barely wear any! she’s brought up my grades from last school year & said i’m a failure, & keeps telling me god doesn’t accept me for the way i am & what music i listen to just because i’m really into insane clown posse alot! but i’m a strong believer in god & pray everyday! it’s getting on my last nerves that she won’t accept me for me! any advice please?

I prefer wearing really dark eye makeup to school. I’m trying to impress my crush & girls in his culture tend to wear dark eye make up because that’s basically all they can show. Can anyone give me tips on how to make dark eye make up look great & not trashy? I have brown skin, black hair, brown eyes, & I wear glasses. I don’t like mascara. It feels weird. I have naturally long, black eyelashes as it is, so I don’t ever wear it. I don’t mind liquid or pencil eyeliner at all. I can handle both, but I only wear black. Ok so I went out the other day & I didn’t realize it but I was wearing all black & my friend asked me if I was going to a funeral. He said next time we go skating wear colors he can’t see me & I look “goth”? So I always wear black eyeliner & mascara but what eyeshadow should I wear? I have blue eyes with brown hair & people keep telling me to use blue but that doesn’t look right. Can any one of you wonder full people give me some advice with my make up?….my mother is not going to help me with make up the two of us are not alike make up is the first thing I do in the morning & her the last if she does wear it…….I learned from magazines & friends…..thats sad…haha

I’m going for a job interview today. I’m 17 & it’s a group interview. It’s for quite (as my Mum would say) “funky place”. They are very eco-friendly I’ve looked on the website so I know the policies, etc. The thing is I don’t know what to wear. Most the people in there have dread locks, lots of piercings etc. My style is a bit like that but not so extreme & my style is pretty unique. Sorta girly goth. They said wear whatever your comfortable in, so I’m confused what to wear.
I’m definatly wearing black skinny jeans & boots but I dunno whether to wear- *Dark Blue flowery shirt with chunky gold bracelet
or *Grey vest top with sparkly gold cardi & black & gold bangles.
I don’t know what wear make up wise either, should I go with-
*Blacky grey eye shadow, with black eye liner
Or *Dark Blue eye liner with Blue Mascara.
Any suggestions & which should I go with?
I really need this job…I’ve researched policies & thought about what to say but is there any other advice you could give me?

Well im 14 & i know that friends will come & go but for right now i need advice on this one girl friend i have…she can be a total *****, her names kayla. Here are a few stories/examples about kayla..
-Shes very self-centerd, like when ever i go over there she tells me all about things that recently happend & im interested & i listen & like make conversation about it, but when it come to my turn she goes…that’s cool izzy.
-shes stingy, she seriously gets in a such a bitchy attitude when i use her laptop..and im like why cant i just check my facebook damn? & shes like what am i supposed to do while you do it? im gonna be bored i just dont feel like it, so she like gets crabby so i end up just shutting it down. & she would always be a ***** if i used some of her mascara or her foundation…WHEN she uses mine & doesn’t even use it.
-She hates when i take showers at her house because her excuse is..im gonna be bored! & i honestly take 10 minutes shower….and im not even kidding when i say this…shes in the shower for 45 minutes, & & if i want to take a shower she seriously gets into one of her moods & wont talk to me.
-and this one time me & my bestfriend got into this fight,,,and when you get into fights you kinda like spill on how you feel & your emotions about this person & how there wrong & blah blah blah..well me & my friend made up, & we where talking on our facebook walls like friends & being like lets hang out love you! & she was like yeah i got into a really crabby mood when i saw that, whennn shes the one who totally friend hops like ever year & finds a new bestfriend in a heart beat, & she doesnt even call me her bestfriend & she gets pissed offf when i say that sandy is my bestfriend she goes WOWWW k izzy. even though she doesnt even call me her bestfriend.
I honestly dont know what i see in her…. i really dont, the only think that i like is that shes really funny..but only for like 2 minutes. then shes a *****..So im wondering should i just drop her like stop answering texts & calls, should i confront her how i feel, or should i just like blow up on her & get all my frustration out..?

its not really fair bc im 13 i should strart doing these things but my mom insists that the ligest amount of makeup should be applied wen ur aboout 15 or 16
any advice on wat could i tell her to convince to let me were the most minimal amount of makeup atleast to bring up my self esteem?

so i just got some liquid eyeliner & i tried applying it but i couldn’t do it right. ive tried youtube but they don’t really help me because i usually just wear black eyeshadow ,mascara & eyeliner & pink lipgloss

I have started wearing a little bit of makeup:) My mom said that if i do wear makeup, I shud use something like Mac because its not as bad for my skin. Ok so i have a 100 dollars & I am going to the mac counter in 2 days! Does mac really have a starter kit with stuff already in it???Ive heard rumors they do. Anywayz if they dont, it wud be so awesome if u cud give me some advice on what to buy from there. I have black hair, brown eyes, & tan skin. I have dark brown hair & dark brown eyes. I’ve always thought that I looked kind of boring since the colors are so plain. Since I’m still fairly young, I only use a tiny bit of makeup. I use a great moisturizer, & a little liquid black eyeliner. Sometimes I’ll wear eyeshadow-usually a darker color. And I never really wear mascara since my lashes are already pretty long & curled (a bit). I don’t wear foundation or coverup because my skin really isn’t flawed.
I have-for a lack of a better word- “scene” hair, & i’m going for that type of makeup style but nothing really extreme.
Please don’t say that younger girls shouldn’t wear makeup & such, I already wear it & i’m not going to stop just because a few people over the internet tell me not to.
And I wash it off every night that I do use it. I don’t wear makeup too much. Only for school & when i’m going out (not just a trip to the grocery store or anything but as in going to the mall, movies, etc etc.)
So please just give advice on the question, not that I shouldn’t wear it. Thanks!
