Mascara Answers

Just started this based on the prompt “Write about fatherhood, with the main character a florist & make the setting a restaurant.” (he’s going to find out he’s going to be a father later.)And I think it’s pretty good. I’d like to hear some other opinions, though!(: I’m fifteen, & have been writing for about a year…
His knees bounced under the table, eyes scanning the door every few seconds, waiting for her to rush in & apologize for being two hours late. The waitress was looking sympathetic now, bringing him a new Coke after Coke, setting it down on the coaster without a word. He bet she saw sorry, lovesick guys all the time. But he was different, his girl was different. She wouldn’t stand him up, she couldn’t.
Was this relationship love, or lust? Daniel convinced himself that it was love, although he wasn’t too sure. Everything about her was perfect. From the way her sweet blonde curls hung around her face to the vanilla taste of her mouth when he kissed her. He loved everything about her. How she looked when she focused on arranging a bouquet of flowers at the shop, the way her creamy skin contrasted with the emerald green comforter on her bed. She was the wild adventurer to his soft-spoken poet. She was his light, the breath in his lungs, the fire to his water. The term falling in love never felt so real, every time he touched her it felt as though he had thrown himself off the highest cliff. Falling slowly, his stomach twisting, heart racing. A solid breath was hard to come by when Leila was around.
They didn’t know anything about each other. She never asked, he never questioned it. All he knew was that she worked at Posies Flowers on 24th street, & that her favorite color was blue. He constantly wondered what her family was like. He liked to imagine them as kind of families on television sitcoms. Sarcastic people, who had their arguments but at the end of the day never forgot how much love they had. It would take some amazing parents to raise such an extraordinary person. Maybe she had an older sister, someone who played dolls with her & taught her about boys. Or a younger brother, who she held after he was born & defended him through his difficult years. There was a history somewhere behind those blue eyes, a reason they sparkled with such happiness & light. Daniel liked to think he was that reason at times, but it was times like this that he doubted his stance in her life.
The face of his watch read 8:30, & just as he reached for his coat he noticed a girl flitting around on the sidewalk, the green neon sign of the restaurant reflecting off her porecelin skin. Her eyes met his, & she froze for a moment. It almost seemed like she was indecisive as if to come inside, but in the end she slipped inside the door before it closed. Her cheeks were pink from the cold, & a grey wool coat was slug around her shoulders. Her mascara was slightly smeared, & the smile she flashed seemed a little too rehersed.
“Hey.” she said in a voice that was eerily cheery, removing her coat & sliding into the booth opposite him.
He nodded once, stirring his Coke. “I was just about to leave.”
“Well I’m glad you didn’t.” She placed her hand on top of his, stroking the top of it with her cold fingers.

I bought some false eyelashes, the individual ones (not the strip), & the directions on the package say “DuraLashes should be replaced as your natural lashes shed. (About 4 to 5 weeks)”
I’ve never worn them before. So i’m confused by what the package says. Does that mean I’m supposed to wear them for 4-5 weeks straight before removing them or am I supposed to take them off each day & then buy new ones after 4-5 weeks?
Also, do you recommend using mascara over them or should I just use the lashes without it? …and last question, the package I bought is a combo pack of short, medium, & long lashes. Am I supposed to use all one length at a time or am I supposed to use the longer lashes on the middle & the shorter ones on the ends of my eyes?

I have a Revlon eyelash curler, & I use it before mascara. However, I’ve noticed that I’ve had many more lashes falling out after removing make-up. Also just today, after I curled my lashes, I noticed many dipping way down, & I can’t do anything to make them stand up the way they used to before I curl my lashes.
I have many eyelashes that are “dipping down” from curling.
Should I stop? Is there any way I can fix this?

like eyeliner, mascara, & eyeshadow? because i tried the makeup remover wipes thingies & they always leave a tiny bit of stubborn makeup right under my eye or at the base of my eyelashes.

i need a mascara that is easy to remove makes lashes long & thicker & wont ruin or make lashes fall out i have short thin lashes what is the best drug store brand

Hey, i want to find a solution to this problem. I wear either CoverGril lashblast Volume & Almay’s tripple affect, & sometimes i wear maybelline’s volumeboost. Because my covergirl & almay mascara are both black brown they leave brown smudges on my undereyes. When i come home i see brown smudges on the outa corners of my eyes( they run from there all the way to the middle) & people often ask “are you wearing mascara? DUDE WHEN DID YOU SLEEP?!’ & i really don’t like that. I also wear maybelline concealer on my undereyes. Please don’t suggest any primers thank you! & also, i know they ARE mascara smudges is because when i go home & use makeup remover & just wipe the undereyes, black brown mascara comes off. Btw,m all my mascaras are waterproof =)

And all of these are by cruelty free brands… like Almay, Benefit, Physician’s Formula. How does it sound?

would remove the most stubborn waterproof mascara?

1)are the chemicals in eyeliner, mascara, & eyeshadow bad for the eyes and/or could they have long term negative affects on eyesight?
2) how do you remove eye makeup properly? i usually just wash my face to remove makeup, but it usually makes my eyes red?

so i want to buy a new mascara & i decided i would try lash stiletto, the problem is that i don’t know which one to buy, lash stiletto or lash stiletto voluptuous? i want plan on buying the waterproof one & i want whichever one can hold a curl once it hardens. i think that’s the main thing, is that it can hold a curl throughout the day, & that it doesn’t smudge. so whichever ones the better out of the two would be preferred:). also i would like to know whats the best way to remove waterproof mascara without tugging on it or using makeup remover & can hydrate would be nice too. thanx:)

I have slightly dry skin to normal skin
I use only completely natural products on my skin & hair. At night I remove my mascara with extra virgin olive oil & then wash my whole face with olive oil, remove the oil with warm water, then re appply some oil for a moisturizer.
I don’t want to wash my face with olive oil in the morning because it will look oily, is it okay to wash my face on a daily basis with water & green tea? Will the tea dry my face out? And should it be warmed? or cold…(like I could make it the night before & put it in the fridge

last night i stupidly didnt remove my mascara cause i was so tired.
when i woke up this morning; my right eye was kinda weird . it looks as if i hadnt had enough sleep/ it looks like it was half open . i thought it’d go away but it didnt. & my eye hurts a Little. i think there is a little bump in there, my sister saw. its real small, its not white like the sty is suppose to have, its red. do i have a sty ?
if so, would it hurt ?

and how do i get rid of it fast ?
or would i HAVE to go to the doctors ??

i wear WATERPROOF mascara & eyeliner,mac fluidline & black eyeshadow everyday.i need something that can take off the HARDEST TO REMOVE MAKEUP.
i also have VERY SENSITIVE eyes & acne prone skin(yes sometimes around the eye area)i need something good for skin that wont burn my eyes.

I’ve been using lash blast mascara, it works awesome, but since using it Ive notice my eyelashes falling out way more than usual when I remove my makeup. Anyone else have this problem with this mascara?

I havent been on an international flight in about 5 years & I am not sure what I am allowed to bring now. I heard all liquids must be in containers that can only hold under 100ml & carried in a clear zip bag.
Here’s what I plan to take in my carry on:
Makeup removing wipes
Travel size 20g tinted moisturiser
Travel size waterproof mascara
Travel size klorane dry shampoo
Lip balm
Mini 30g hand cream
Eyebrow gel
Mini toothpaste
Lip & cheek tint
Will that stuff be OK to carry on? Do my makeup items need to be in the clear case or are they ok?
Anything else I should be aware of?

Hey, I put (mascara + foundation + powder) every morning when I go to college but right after I come back on afternoon I wash my face & I remove all the make up.
Is putting (mascara + foundation + powder) on my face everyday will damage my skin? is it bad? even if I remove them everyday???

I am a 14 year old boy but I never truly feel like one. Ever since I was little I always had a desire to be a girl. Now lately my parents have let me stay home alone & no matter how hard I try I can’t ignore my impulse.
I have found myself trying on my sisters & mother’s clothes in her closets & then feeling good in them but only to having to take them off & make it look like noone was messing around with their stuff before they get home. I have also tried to wear their makeup but I dont know how to put it on or remove it properly (I once scraped up my face trying to remove eye shadow & mascara).
Now I am really confused, I have a normal social life but noone knows about my yearning to be the opposite sex. My parents don’t know either but I am incredibly scared to tell them because I think they would probably disown me.I don’t know what to do, I have none to talk to about it & noway of getting girl stuff. I feel dirty using their stuff but I feel depressed without it.

Liquid foundation (Ive tried powder before but it didnt do anything lol. If you know of one thats cheap & easy to get, let me know.)

My hair is long & brown & kind of red. My eyes are a medium toned green.
I wear it all sparingly, but is it still too much?
